Q. Here with Celine after the second round of the BMW Ladies Championship. 7-under today. Can you just talk on how you played?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, played pretty steady all round. I feel like the wind kind of almost died down throughout the round, which was very unexpected. But yeah, just gave myself a few chances and rolled a few putts. Overall, pretty happy with my round.
Q. That was going to be my main question about the wind. When you started today, it was pretty strong; right?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah.
Q. How did you just adjust? I heard a lot of players are practicing low shots heading into this week.
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I didn't really know what to expect with the weather because it was really calm the first couple days that we got here. But definitely this morning in my warmup, very surprised. I don't know if it was even forecasted to be that windy. But yeah, I thought the back nine going to be more windy because it's more exposed. I was trying to take advantage of the front. When we got to the back it almost died down a little bit. So it was a little bit better than I expected.
But yeah, it's definitely playing kind of challenging with the wind sometimes going in different directions.
So yeah, very happy with my club selections.
Q. So you think that back nine is definitely more exposed, so come Sunday if there's a lot of wind, it could be really tough coming down the stretch?
CELINE BOUTIER: Definitely. I think we expect it to be quite windy on Sunday. So definitely there's a lot of interesting holes towards the back, a lot of chances, but also a lot of difficult holes if it gets windy. So I feel like it's definitely going to be a tournament to be interesting at the end.
Q. You birdied four of the last six. Can you talk about that back last stretch there?
CELINE BOUTIER: Definitely some tough holes, too. I didn't really plan to be aggressive or go for birdies but I definitely gave myself some good looks and was able to hole a few putts also within range. So I feel like I was pretty happy with that.
Yeah, just gave myself good chances.
Q. What are the challenges of the last couple holes that you feel like?
CELINE BOUTIER: I think it's just very exposed and some of the holes are quite long. I mean, especially it depends a lot on the wind. But yeah, I had a few, like, between 8- and 6-iron, and if you add in the wind, I feel like when you miss, there's also a lot of bad things that can happen.
If you may good, you have chances but with the wind it's not easy to control the direction when it's that exposed. So I feel like that's the main challenge.
Q. A lot of the greens they can tuck the pins away. Do you feel like that would be challenging, too, with the wind come the weekend?
CELINE BOUTIER: Yeah, I feel like you definitely have to miss on the right side. A few times I kind of missed on the side that I had some chips that were more into the wind. So that helped me out a little bit, too. But yeah, I can imagine if you're on the other side, it might be more difficult.
