Q. All right, Pauline, so heading back to the LPGA. Finishing third here at Final Qualifying.
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: Did I?
Q. Yeah.
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: Okay. I haven't opened the leaderboard since I got here.
Q. Oh, really?
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: No. I didn't open my Instagram. I did not check any scores. I did not even look at any of the leaderboards that were out there.
I was just like out of time entirely. Yeah, some people were like, good job today. I was like, thanks, but I don't know what I did, but thank you.
Yeah. Well, good surprise. Cool. Thanks. Third.
Q. Finished third. So status on the LPGA next year.
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: Yeah.
Q. What are you most proud of of yourself this week? Obviously a long week this week. What are you most proud of?
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: I think it's not just this week. It's just getting back into loving what I do and into just, yeah, being happy doing this job and waking up to the life that makes me happy.
I have I think a process that's a little different to a lot of players, and the fact that I got that status back and how I played is like, wow, process might not be that wrong after all.
It's really, really cool, mostly for myself, and then secondly the people around. So, yeah.
Q. And then what are you most looking forward to next year being back on the LPGA? Was there maybe one event, one stretch, anything that you're just really looking forward to?
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: Just the freedom of choosing. I'm not going to put myself in -- like put pressure on myself regarding points or anything or where to go play and you have to play this or that, because like playing full time season on the LPGA gets sometimes to your head in that way.
I'm just looking forward to the travel, traveling to different countries, because I do intend to keep playing on the LET as well. The goal was to really get my freedom back in terms of, hey, if I want to go play LPGA I can and if I want to go play LET I will as well. I like being a hybrid type of player.
I did it, so I'm looking forward to just being back as well, because I really want to get that new perspective in mind or just back out there.
But I have a few tournaments in mind like in New York, Hawai'i, and, yeah.
Q. Kind of talk about your experiences on the LET, LPGA. Do you feel like that's kind of helped you become a more well-rounded player playing in all the different courses, all those different areas?
PAULINE ROUSSIN-BOUCHARD: I mean, LET is the best place ever. It's my happy place, happy people, great people, great community. We have amazing tournaments and it just made me love the game again. Yeah, it just, you know, you get ready on those tournaments and the level is fricking good.
I mean, I had really good finishes over the last couple weeks on LET and it just led to this week. So, yeah, it just puts good vibes into me and good dynamic that I hope a lot of players are going to take on LPGA.
