THE MODERATOR: Congratulations Ronni. Talk about this experience winning in your home country for a second time now. What does that mean to you?
RUONING YIN: I mean, it's just like what I say in the interview in the presentation. I think this tournament means everything to me because just like you have the chance to play in front of all your family and friends and in front of all the amazing fans.
It's just amazing.
Q. Talk a little bit about your battle back. Couple over par in the second round and then over the weekend put together some really good golf. What did you mentally have to do to stay within yourself knowing you could come back and win this tournament?
RUONING YIN: Yeah, this course you have to play really, really patient and there is not many birdie chances. So you just got to be patient and believe yourself that the birdie chances going to come.
I think I play with patience on the weekend, I'm just proud of myself, even though I miss a lot of putts, but I made a few when I needed it most.
Q. We saw a lot of emotion from you after your win at FM Championship and then come back and win in your next start on the LPGA. Talk about your different emotions of not winning for a long time and then winning in your home country?
RUONING YIN: I mean, I still have emotions, but this time is very calm, more calm than FM. You know, I think it's dream come true to win at home, and I think I'm lucky to win it twice.
I hope this is just the beginning.
Q. You mentioned family and friends as well. A lot of those friends are on Tour. You had five or ten players that came out and congratulated you. What does it mean to have those friendships out here on Tour?
RUONING YIN: You just know because play on the Tour is kind of lonely and then you just know you have friends always. Especially DK. She won this tournament twice and I'm able to find her which means more than anything else, too.
Q. You mentioned DK. She was one of the players on the green. Did she mention anything to you after you won today?
RUONING YIN: She gave me a hug at the scoring tent. I was going to say now I have seven, you only have six, but I'll just keep it quiet for a little bit.
Q. And last one from me. Coming towards the end of the year here, slowly climbing up the CME rankings. Talk about what this year has meant for you overall as a player.
RUONING YIN: Yeah, this year definitely is a better one than last year for sure, but I think I still have three more tournaments left. I hope this one can boost some confidence for me and then go into next one.
