Q. Here with Weiwei after the second round of the Blue Bay LPGA. Talk about your day today. Got off to a little bit of a bumpy start and turned it around. Talk about the patience it took today.
WEIWEI ZHANG: Yeah, really bad start today. Yeah, the first hole I got double bogey, so today, is worse hole today.
And then I just feel a little nervous on the first tee. Normally I try driver on the first tee, but today because I'm little nervous so I just try 3-wood so I change my plan and I miss-hit. Hit under the tree and have two bad shot. So four shot and two putt so I got a double bogey.
Next hole I chipped twice but I still save a bogey. Then I just tell myself, okay, two holes, after two holes still have chance. I believe myself I have chance, I can catch more birdie, made more birdie and I can be back, and I do it. I got three birdie in a row.
Q. How much confidence does that give you? You made a few birdies but you were able to battle back. Does that make you feel good going into the weekend?
WEIWEI ZHANG: Actually I don't like that. Yeah, because on this course there is a lot difficult shot because the greens, very tricky and very tough. Around the greens really hard.
So I still want on the fairway and the green, that's better, but today I just very happy for myself. I just keep going. I didn't give up. I trust myself. Yeah, I'm very proud.
Q. And yesterday was your best round ever I believe at this event. Talk about how much confidence that gives you heading into the next couple days.
WEIWEI ZHANG: Actually yesterday, because I have a three month no tournament, so yesterday was my first tournament, first one.
I don't know how I feel because I feel nothing because -- and this course it's difficult but actually this is my home course. I practice here before two weeks, so I think I know the course. I just be patient because I don't know where is the ball going actually.
Also last two hole I chipping in a row, so that's a lot confidence because I know my birdie -- I'm not ready but I still can hit low scores. So I'm happy for that.
