Q. Joined by Soo Bin Joo after her first round here at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba. Starting your tournament 4-under round. Talk a little bit about your day today and how everything was out there?
SOO BIN JOO: Everything was just flowing. My mind was flowing, too. I think I was trying to stay steady under the heat, so I think that make me in a good position today.
Q. And then started the day off with a birdie and then finished bogey-free on that closing nine. Talk about did you settle into the round a little bit?
SOO BIN JOO: There were a few holes that I missed the greens so I needed to get tough up and downs, but I think my short game was really good. I've been really focusing on my short game since I came here because this course, it needs your short game skills.
So I think that kind of worked out.
Q. And then you mentioned the heat a little bit. Can you talk about that? There was a few tournaments this year where there has been some good heat. How do you manage that and focus on your game?
SOO BIN JOO: Umbrella is the key. Try to stay under the shade as much as you can. Shout out to my caddie, Lane (ph) today. I mean, he threw up on hole 18 but thankfully he didn't give up and stood up for me, so yeah.
Q. Heading into tomorrow now, anything you took from this round today that maybe you're going to practice a little bit before tomorrow heading into another important day?
SOO BIN JOO: Since it's so hot today I just want to jump in the swimming pool or whatever. I think I'm just going to keep everything slow and try to focus on my game that I have. Not doing more. I think that's the key.
