Q. Joined by Isabella Fierro after the final round at the Maya Open at Mayakoba. Really good round today. Got yourself inside looks like the top 20, top 25. Talk about your experience this week in your home country.
ISABELLA FIERRO: Means a lot. Today was a good round, like you said. A lot of good things happened. I was very patient. I started on the back nine and the putt got pretty hot pretty quick. Then on the front nine it kind of got cold, but my caddie just remind me to stay present and to be positive. He's like, hey, you're rolling them good. They're not easy putts. Just stay present and keep going with it.
So at the end it pay off.
And conditions were great today. A little bit humid and hot, but I felt great and really excited for what's to come.
Q. Talk a little bit about the crowds here in Mexico and just how much they've spurred you on and encouraged you this week.
ISABELLA FIERRO: Yeah, a lot. I was going to say, I was a little bit more serious than usual on the course when it comes to fan interaction, but that was my job this week, to kind of stay in my bubble, just because sometimes my head tends to go a little bit everywhere.
So I was trying to stay there, but I could hear every single one of the little girls and the people that were following me, and that make a huge difference.
There was a little girl that she couldn't see where my ball end up, but she always told me, hey, good shot, you got it from here. So at the end the day to give me a lot of confidence to keep going.
Q. You mentioned the rest of the year. This finish may help you out. How good does it feel to do that in your home country and put that maybe in the back of your mind and just focus on the rest of the year now?
ISABELLA FIERRO: It's huge. At the end of the day I have my flight to Vegas tomorrow to play the Epson Tour, so hopefully we change it.
But, yeah, for now I'm also focused on giving my 100% whatever tournament I'm playing, so I'm just really happy that I was able to perform today and that it was good.
