Brianna Do

Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Brianna Do after the final round here in Mexico. Talk a little bit about this week. Obviously had a great week here last year, and then one-bettered it this week. Can you talk about just your experience so far?

BRIANNA DO: It's been good. I mean, I think this week last year and this week this year has taught me a lot.

After last year, you know, going into it I believed that my best golf was still ahead of me even though I'm one of the older players out here, and I still believe that. It just showed this week.

It's hard to not get emotional, but I'm really proud of myself and how I played, so, yeah.

Q. And then talking about what's ahead, now going to be heading to Mizuho, New Jersey, a really fun event. Just talk about this week leading into that week and just what it means for your future out here.

BRIANNA DO: Yeah, I mean, I should be into everything the rest of the season. I qualified for the Open so that's an extra major.

But, yeah, it's kind of -- I haven't played in the Mizuho yet, and it will be kind of fun. Again, I'm one of the veterans out here, one of the older girls, so getting to inspire the next generation of LPGA players hopefully, so I think it's kind of cool full circle.

Q. This weekend you said you look a lot from last year on the weekend. Showed a lot of resilience. Couple bogeys early and battled back. What does that mean knowing you might not start off well but you're going to find way to get back into the tournament?

BRIANNA DO: Yeah, I just need to find a way to get a little more comfortable earlier in the rounds over the weekend. Being in the position that I am, it definitely gives me confidence that I can stay in it and club along and get back to an under-par round. So, yeah.
