CHUCK DUNLAP: We'll take questions for Jaydon.
Q. How have you seen Tre grow this season? What has recently clicked for him?
JAYDON BLUE: Yeah, I tell a lot of people all the time, Tre is probably one of the toughest guys, if not the toughest guy, on the team.
With him, he's been patient. He's waited his time. He's learned from guys that have played in front of him. He's prepared to where whenever we need him to be the guy, he's capable of doing that.
I think he's just showing all the work that he's put in up to this point.
Q. Jake has been there every step of the way since you've been there. What has it meant to you, his presence, over the last few years?
JAYDON BLUE: Yeah, man, Jake has been amazing for me in my time here. To start off, he's the backbone of the offense. Of course, he's the center. He runs the offense.
I like to say that he makes things a lot easier for me when it comes to protections and running the ball. He's a very smart guy. He sees things coming before any of us can. There's things he does really well that can help me, Tre and the other backs be really effective.
Q. Jake was talking about what you took from the first game against Georgia. He mentioned physicality. Watching the tape, how much did that help you realize or know there was another level in terms of physicality?
JAYDON BLUE: Yeah, the main thing that we took from this game is we had a lot of things that we could have improved on. The first thing was taking care of the ball more. When we turn the ball over, we gives teams a short field, give them a better chance of putting the ball in the end zone.
For us, it's just us taking things from that game and seeing how we could change and make those things different to where we can put ourself in a better position to be more successful.
Q. How does it feel to know you're playing a team that you've already played this season?
JAYDON BLUE: Well, for me, of course it's my first year playing in the SEC. I can only imagine what it feels like for the seniors on this team to get a chance to play for a conference title.
For me, it's just me doing everything I can to make sure that the team is in the best position to get the win, for me to make the seniors as happy as they can be.
As far as us getting a chance to play in this game, we have to make sure we're preparing well every day and know it starts with us trusting Coach Sark and his game plan, just having that belief that he's going to put us in the best position for us to be successful Saturday.
CHUCK DUNLAP: Thank you.
