Ravens - 33, Texans - 16

Q. Now that you're in this 0-2 hole what do you feel like you guys have to do to fight your way out of it and get the season going the right direction?

RANDALL COBB: Find a way to win. At the end of the day, that's all it's about is finding a way to get a win. You look at tonight's game, again, we start off slow, put ourself in a hole and try to dig our way out. It was a tough sled there at the end. And got to find a way to get a victory. That's what it comes down to.

Q. Did you feel like the offense moved at a better pace and with more urgency in this game? And could you just speak to the, to how critical it is to not beat yourselves in games like this?

RANDALL COBB: Yeah, that's every week. We definitely played a good defense, but at the end of the day, it's about what we do and it's all about us and, again, we got to start faster. We can't start a game with a three and out. As the game went along, we were better in situational football. We moved the ball well. When we get down in the red zone, we got to score touchdowns instead of kicking field goals. It's tough, man. It's tough. But we're trying to do all we can. I think we made some plays throughout the game. We just got to be consistent with it.

Q. What do you think you've learned about this team just through these first two games?

RANDALL COBB: We got some players. We got some guys that fight. Offensively, we got weapons. We got to find a way to get the ball in our weapons' hands and continue to move the ball on third down and pick up first downs and put ourself in good situations. I think we moved the ball really well whenever we got the ball out of Deshaun's hands fast and let us make some plays. We got the running game going there early on. And then we got behind, so we had to start passing the ball. So I think it's just about getting us in good situations where you let your playmakers make plays for you.

Q. You said last week, referring to what happened at Kansas City, it was bad ball across the board. How do you feel about -- in relation to that quote for last week, do you feel it was similar this week, something different? How do you view it?

RANDALL COBB: I feel like we got better. I think we played better as group offensively, but we still have a long way to go. We still got a lot of work to do. It's back to practice on Wednesday, getting the install, and getting comfortable with it and doing everything we can to help prepare for next week.

Q. How difficult is it playing from behind against these quality teams?

RANDALL COBB: When you dig yourself a hole against playoff-caliber teams, the two teams we played, obviously, Kansas City won the Super Bowl last year; the Ravens, I believe, were the No. 1 or No. 2 seed. So they -- obviously they have a great team and when you dig yourself a hole it's hard to come back in games like that.

Q. As one of the veterans on this team, what can you tell some of the younger players who are dealing with something like this for the first time, being down 0-2, what can you tell them to help them later on in the season?

RANDALL COBB: I think the biggest thing is is just finding a way to win one game. It's not about looking at the season as a whole. Obviously, it's 16 games. We got 14 left. But it's about getting one win. It's finding a way to get one win, regardless of how it comes, if it's offensive making, if we have to put up 50 points, if the defense, if they have to get three turnovers and score, special teams have to make plays. Whatever the case may be it's find a way to win a game.

Q. On the fourth down try that did not work, what was your takeaway from kind of what happened on that play, what you guys were initially going to do and then what you wound up doing that didn't work?

RANDALL COBB: I think initially we came out in a big personnel and we were going to run the ball, and then they called a timeout and we came back and ran a boot play and they, I think they were ready for it. It was kind of similar to the play we ran on third down. I think they might have been ready for that one.
