THE MODERATOR: We have inside linebacker coach Bobby King. Questions, please.
Q. With Zach Cunningham, very talented player, what have you thought overall of his season? We have seen him miss more tackles than normally.
BOBBY KING: Zach has played well. Obviously on defense we've been inconsistent at times. We all need to do a little bit better. He'll be the first to tell you that his game can be a little bit more consistent.
But he's had a good season so far. Had a couple games where he's had some missed tackles. We look for all of us to be better after the bye week.
Q. What do you think about how Tyrell Adams has done stepping up?
BOBBY KING: TA has come in and done a nice job. The leadership, the communication, all that really, really took another huge step this past game. I really look forward to seeing that even take more steps as the season goes on, but he's done a nice job.
Q. Talk a little bit more about Tyrell. He was here earlier, then he bounced around with so many different teams, practice squads. From all that to his opportunity to finally start, what have you seen from him as far as his development, what's really helped him have the success he's had?
BOBBY KING: He's a really good pro. He puts the work in during the week. He studies. He comes prepared. He practices well. He's tapping out his ability and his knowledge. I'm proud of him.
I love coaching him. I want to continue to see the growth as the season goes on.
Q. How much of some of Zach's struggles have been some of the players that have previously been around him are not here? How much has been associated to a different environment for Zach as inside linebacker?
BOBBY KING: I don't like to look at it like that. I just think the stuff that he's had trouble with this year, the tackles and stuff, he can control that. He's going to look like himself the rest of the year, I can promise you that.
No, I don't look at it like that.
THE MODERATOR: Thanks for the time, coach.
