Houston Texans 26, Green Bay Packers 7
Q. Just one drive and one circumstance, but what is the correction to convert touchdowns in that situation?
TYROD TAYLOR: Obviously the third and two, we went with the run and we have to execute in all phases, seven instead of three in those areas are definitely critical and any time you get in the red zone or any time you get in the high red, the low red, you want to come out with touchdowns.
Ultimately I want to come out with a touchdown in had a situation, but to see the first group go in and move the ball right down the field was definitely a strong point for us and something, a positive for us, we're not looking at it as a negative.
Q. What did you notice in your comfort level?
TYROD TAYLOR: Comfortable in the offense. TK does a great job of calling it to the players strengths and allowing us to go out and execute at a high level. At the end of the day it's up to us to execute and we did a good job of doing that.
Q. What did you think of Davis Mills?
TYROD TAYLOR: I think he went out there and compete. He went out there and he made some plays in the passing game, got guys in the right spots in the running game as well, too. Something to build from. There's always ways to improve and we'll find those ways to correct and improve as a group. He will individually. I will individually, and as well as Jeff once we watch the tape and put it behind us and move forward.
Q. You're using the word comfort -- that connection looked like it was very natural for you. What do you like about the way you guys operated together?
TYROD TAYLOR: I trust Conley on the field. We spent a lot of time this off-season. We actually live in the same neighborhood. Got some time to spend together this past off-season as well as just through our practice and went out there and made some plays, made some contested catches. He's a big target. So a strong receiver -- more than likely he's going to come down with the catch. Impressed by him. If he keeps makes caps it will definitely help our offense moving forward.
Q. Losing a player like that --
TYROD TAYLOR: It's unfortunate, any time a guy gets injured, obviously it's the nature of the business that we play, but he's a very talented receiver. We're definitely going to miss him on the field but it's another opportunity for guys in the wide receiver room to step up and make plays.
Wish him a speedy recovery. Know he's probably disappointed about the injury as well as us, but more importantly that he heels, makes 100 percent recovery and once we get back on the field we'll be able to still spend some time and get him on the same page and build chemistry.
Q. What you heard about LT and -- how did you adapt?
TYROD TAYLOR: Just next man up attitude. It's unfortunate but it's just the nature that we're in now. I think if anything, last year told us that, day to day. First you have to take the precaution to be able to play on the field on game days but also at any given point, the next person could be called up. With such short notice, the guys that went in, G played well with the first group, but everybody that played tonight, I think everyone welcomed the opportunity to go in and show the coaches what they could do but also show the players and our teammates what they can do as well.
