Patriots 25, Texans 22

Q. How was it to come back and out and play after not playing the last three?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: It felt great, being back out there with my team and fighting with them on this Sunday it felt good.

Q. And how about with Damien, did you have a chance to see him after the game and can you relay how he's hanging in?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: Yeah, he's going to be fine. I mean, he's a tough dude. We can either any storm so I'm not really worried about it. I know he's not really too worried about it. I know he's just going to go back to work and get his body right. Do whatever he has to do.

Q. You were inactive the last few weeks. Was that just because of the fumble or were there other things?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: I really don't know. And I really -- I really don't care to be honest. I just go to work every week like I'm playing and I'm going to be active. I'm just trying to get better. I'm still a rookie. I'm taking things for what it is. I'm trying to learn how to be a pro still and I'm just taking it in all in.

Q. Did you try to pick up Damien after that fumble in the first half?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: Of course, but he can weather any storm. I'm not really worried about it. He's going to come back harder than ever?

Q. How hard is it to go from being inactive to being in a high-pressure game like this?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: That feels good, honestly, knowing my teammates can trust me and my coaches can trust me, things like that. It felt really amazing out there in the fourth quarter getting touches.

Q. What was it like in the huddle on the final drive?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: Of course we were just preaching ball security and just do what we do. Nothing -- nothing more, nothing less. It was really a simple game plan. Just not really a game plan but just how we were thinking at the end of the game in the huddle, just let's do our job in the huddle and win the game.

Q. What's Mac like in moments like that?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: He doesn't change. Beginning of the game, we could be -- we could be down, we could be up, like he's the same person, like regardless. I never seen his attitude change, his emotions change and yeah, I respect him for that.

Q. How impressed were you by the offensive line? A lot of moving pieces there.

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: Yeah, I'm proud of those guys. Like they stepped up when they needed to. We had a couple guys out but like I said, they stepped up in a crucial time and they really came through for us today.

Q. Sitting out a couple games, did you feel like if you got the opportunity you would have something to prove to yourself?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: Of course, I think I'm always trying to prove something to myself to be honest. I'm never complacent. I never get comfortable with anything. I always got to get better and that's just the mindset I have.

Q. What is it about ball security that's been an issue?

RHAMONDRE STEVENSON: I think we're just trying to -- I can't really speak on anybody else. I think I was just trying to do more than I was -- more than I had to. I just need to run the ball and not try to do anything extra and just make sure I hold the ball. It's not really much to it. I just need to hold the ball.

Q. Good weekend for you, last night?

RHAMONDRE STEVE

NSON: Of course. Boomer Sooners.
