Patriots - 25, Texans - 22
Q. At what point did you know that you were going to --
CHRIS MOORE: Some time throughout the week I figured that I might have my opportunity. You never know for sure because the roster is always fluctuating. But I just stay ready; whenever they call my name, I'll always be ready to play.
Q. What was the role they had for you this week?
CHRIS MOORE: What I was supposed to go out there and do. Whenever they had me at receiver, to make the plays that were called to me. And a big special teams, because I've always been a special teams guy. I always knew that was --
Q. Is this your best game in your career?
CHRIS MOORE: As a receiver, yes, for sure, it definitely was.
Q. How do you account for, what were you able to do and what did you think working with Davis the way you did?
CHRIS MOORE: I won my matchups. He called some great plays that gave me an opportunity to make some great plays. I may have left some out on the field. Wish I could have done more. Davis Mills you keep seeing him getting better. I was excited to go out there and make some plays for him.
Q. What is it to have the best game of your career and have a loss and lose at the end like that?
CHRIS MOORE: It sucks. On one note, you're happy for yourself. But this is a team game. All them stats, all that doesn't matter because we still took the L.
Q. What happened on the play in the back of the end zone?
CHRIS MOORE: It was me. I think I had too much speed and momentum. I just dropped the ball. That's on me. That's the play I wish I got back that I left on the field. That one hurts me.
Q. During the week, how much time do you get to work with (inaudible)?
CHRIS MOORE: I got to do a little bit more stuff this week because we thought we might be a little short. So luckily this week I got to go and get some one-on-ones with them. You do as much as you can. My big thing is I study and I know like everything I'm supposed to do. It doesn't matter what position they throw me at. I'm just prepared for them to give me my opportunity.
Q. As a whole, the whole team, do you feel like you guys can build on this from the loss, even though you guys didn't get the result you were hoping for?
CHRIS MOORE: Definitely. We had that game. We just shot ourselves in the foot too many times in the second half. Just have to continue to fight, continue to just finish games. And I think this is definitely something we can build on, for sure.
