Patriots - 25, Texans - 22
Q. When you look at the way the momentum sprung in the second half, what did you feel like was happening there when it started going for you guys?
JONATHAN GREENARD: I think we all did enough on the team to put ourselves in good positions. We've just got to finish. You all seen the score. You all seen what it was. No excuses. We've just got to finish.
Q. At this point how is it to be this close and knowing you should have won?
JONATHAN GREENARD: Nobody likes that losing stuff. We should have had it. I mean, not much more we can do. We've just got to keep playing.
Q. How do you play this one differently now?
JONATHAN GREENARD: Just take it on the chin and keep going. We can't sit here, cry about it. We've got to keep going. We're grown men. Nobody likes losing. But at the end of the day this is part of the game. We just need to keep working. Myself, I know all of us on the defense, offense as well, the whole team, we know our mindset. We've got conference play coming up next week with Indy, must-win situation. This is where the really stuff really starts, can't take any more of these losses like this.
Q. What do you think seemed to change?
JONATHAN GREENARD: [No audio].
Q. [Question about the offensive line].
JONATHAN GREENARD: ... the O line, so we can't really take them as their backup. In the league, that's the one thing, it's not college. College has got a backup guy, fresh out of high school, never seen anything like this. These guys practicing against guys all around the league.
So to say that, I mean, they were supposed to play bad with four down linemen, hey, they executed better. They had a plan for them and it worked obviously.
Q. The roughing-the-passer penalty?
JONATHAN GREENARD: Always. All the time, man, we know what happened. We don't -- I don't personally think it was. But at the end of the day it's not my decision. We've just got to play cleaner ball. Me and Maliek play hard. That's one of the things that comes with it. It sucks but at the end of the day we keep going.
Q. On the final drive you used your last timeout after Coach accepted the penalty to take the touchdown off the board. Was the communication clear about what they wanted the defense to do let them score or not?
JONATHAN GREENARD: It's whatever they want to do. I was on the sideline. That's something for the guys who were in there for that question.
