Colts - 31, Texans - 0
Q. You got back out there but it was tough sledding against an offense. What do you think makes it harder for you guys to score points (indiscernible)?
JUSTIN BRITT: I'm going to have to go see the film. But we've got to figure out a way to score points, stay on the field, keep our defense off the field. I thought they played really hard and fought for pretty much most of the game and -- against a really good running team. But if we leave them out on the field then we're not doing them no justice.
We've just got to look at the film, figure out what happened and just stick to it, (indiscernible) with it day after day, working with a purpose. A goal to go 1-0 and do what we can to get ready for next week.
Q. How tough is it when you have to put quarterbacks on the fly like that during the game?
JUSTIN BRITT: Not tough. I've had plenty of work with Davis. I've had plenty of work with Tyrod. Obviously we don't want Tyrod to go down -- and I'm not going to speculate or talk about injuries -- but when Davis stepped in there was no waver. The confidence is up there. We know that he can play. We know that he can command the offense and he did just that.
Q. How would you compare the composure or readiness of Davis when he took off?
JUSTIN BRITT: You could tell it in his eyes, his belief in himself and the offense, his job, what he's got to do, he's more comfortable, more poised. It speaks volumes to who he is, how he prepares. And I thought he came in and, like I said, commanded the offense and did all he could to try to get us in the end zone.
Q. How did you feel just yourself individually out there?
JUSTIN BRITT: I felt great today. I don't know if it was the juice of being out for a little bit. But body felt good. Shout out to our athletic training staff for helping me get back in a quick manner and in a healthy manner. I'm ready to see the film, build off this and try to go 1-0 next week. That's all we can do. That's all we can control.
Q. (Indiscernible) the difference with Lane and Tytus to your left, and those guys (inaudible)?
JUSTIN BRITT: Lane's played a lot of ball. And so I've just kind of -- I've been itching for him to just get a feel of it, get back out there. So it was really cool to see him out there last week. And I'm honored to be able to play with him because whenever the Texans signed him I reached out to him and I was super excited because I've been watching him, playing against him every year my whole career.
So I thought our guys up front fought hard, stuck together and tried to control what we could control.
Q. You also fought so much offensively through injuries and just trying new things in plays. What's it like behind the scenes to try and get something to work?
JUSTIN BRITT: Kind of like what I just said, control what you can control. Every play has its little ins and outs and we know what we're trying to do. For whatever reason it didn't work. I can't sit here and tell you why it didn't. I haven't watched the film. And it's hard to know whenever you're trying to block, yourself. So I just know that we need to stick together.
We need to continue to, like Cooks said, we need to continue to show up, fight, never give in and just go 1-0 and have that mentality. Tomorrow we get in, we get in the weight room. We do that, take care of that, get our bodies back look at the film, see what's happening and get ready for Seattle.
