MILES SANDERS: Take it easy on me today, guys (smiling).

Q. How tough was it on a short week to come down here, get that eighth win?

MILES SANDERS: I mean, I think everybody can say that Thursday night games, it's not everybody's favorite. Yeah, it's prime time, but it's a short weekend, a quick turnaround depending on how you come out the last game. You got to focus on that, take care of your body as much as you can to get ready for Thursday.

Our whole team was pretty much fine after last week's game. Yeah, it means a lot to turn around, come, about a three-hour flight, get our eighth W. We made franchise history today.

Q. The opening drive, what was the significance going 18 plays? What did that do for you?

MILES SANDERS: Yeah, that's what we try to do. We saw that they were trying to run the ball, run the clock out. We only had about three drives I think the first half. We was just trying to control the clock as well, too, just trying to be as efficient as possible, drive down the field, make a statement.

Q. This was the first time the team hasn't held a lead at halftime. Anything urgent in the locker room at the half?

MILES SANDERS: Just had to communicate. We just had to communicate better. I think that was probably the only problem in the first half. A lot of miscommunication, which made our plays look crazy at times.

But, yeah, we embraced it, though. We have been down before. We were just trying to get our mojo back really at halftime. That's what we talked about. Ain't really talked about nothing, but just communicate out there and we'll get the job done.

Q. You are 8-0 for the first time in franchise history. You have to be happy with where you are. How does that make you feel right now as a team?

MILES SANDERS: Yeah, it's a blessing honestly. It's not easy to win in this league. Happy that we got eight out of the way. All we're trying to do, we're on to bigger and better things, trying to take one game at a time.

Still got a long rest of the season. Division game coming up. We got a lot of stuff that we have to focus on more than being 8-0.

Q. (No microphone.)

MILES SANDERS: No, not really. You can't read that guy. He's steady, cool, calm, collected. That's how he always is (smiling).

Shot out to the O line, Coach Stout and the defense. Yes, sir.
