Browns - 36, Texans - 22
Q. Can you talk about what you saw defensively today from the Browns?
CASE KEENUM: They didn't do anything really different than what they've done before, but man, they're a very talented defensive front and back end and linebackers. I think that's one of the more talented defenses we played. Gotta give them a lot of credit.
Coach Schwartz over there has done a fine job getting those guys ready to play. He called a great game, too. There were some situations and things that were tough on us.
Again, there's the self-inflicted wounds that really add up at critical moments, and then the game's away. When you have the receiver over there doing what he did and how Joe was playing, it was tough keeping up.
But there's tough games, tough losses. It's about getting back up and going back out there and picking yourself up, dusting yourself off. And we still have a chance. We still have some opportunities, a couple more games to go. And see how this thing shakes out.
Q. (Question about the Browns doing really well and how frustrating it is).
CASE KEENUM: It's very frustrating. We felt like we had a great plan going in. I thought the coach did a great job planning and trying to get the right plays and the right situations. But they mixed up their man and zone and then brought some pressures that got us hot. We had to get the ball out quick.
And we just didn't do enough today. We got our butts kicked. And that's never fun. Hadn't had it like that in a while.
Q. (Question on the offense to get the offense back on track.)
CASE KEENUM: We have to go watch the film and see what mistakes we can correct. Things we did well. Obviously Davis coming in and leading a couple scoring drives there late, trying to build on that, hopefully some momentum there late. But we've got to look at ourselves in the mirror and just take every day and see how bad we want it moving forward.
Q. What did you think about -- you talked about (inaudible)?
CASE KEENUM: It's good. We had a plan for both of us to play today. And we didn't have many snaps in the first half for him to play. But for him to come in and do what he did, deliver some absolute perfect passes to those guys who are making some big plays. He's a very talented quarterback, and it showed there in the fourth quarter.
Q. I know you guys aren't looking two weeks down the road, yet you do have two left. And with the Colts losing today, you guys are still in very good position to take care of your business. Thoughts on that, (indiscernible) inside the locker room?
CASE KEENUM: It's hard to look at that. I haven't even seen what the other scores were and what that means for us moving forward. But you hope to have a chance. With two games left, to have a chance with a lot of it in your corner, if that's the way it is, I don't know. That's great. That's something to play for.
I think a lot of guys in that locker room play for a lot of things, but to have something on the line, and games in December are obviously very important.
