Bills - 31, Dolphins - 28
Q. Devin, your quarterback. He had never thrown for 300 gets three. Now he's thrown for 400. What did you guys think of the way your quarterback played today?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: He's doing what quarterbacks do. He's a general. Showing week in and week out. Just keeps finding ways to get better.
Q. That third quarter where things started to fade and they were back in it, what was the mindset in the huddle? When you got back out there, you were down and you needed to make a play and he ended up making the plays?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: That's all we was preaching on the sideline. You know, we gotta finish. We gotta keep it going. We're down right now. We gotta pick it back up. Let's stick together and find a way to make something happen, and that's what we did.
Q. Stefon Diggs today, a couple of the catches he made were pretty special, over 150 yards. What about that combination of Stephon and Josh together?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: I think it's scary. It's scary. I would hate object on the other side. You know what I'm saying. It's definitely a great combination with those two guys, and it's only getting better.
Q. Devin, the offense has kind of struggled in the third quarters the first two weeks, and even going back to last year, it seems like the offense is a little slower to get out of the gate coming out of the halftime. Is that something you guys have talked about a little bit, needing to come out and be a little more dominant there in the third quarter?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: Yeah. Of course. We've been harping on that. But we know there's going to be some good things that happen and some bad things that happen. And we knew we was going to have to fight through adversity, and that's what we did today. We definitely gotta find a way to come out better in the third quarter.
Q. You mentioned fighting through adversity. Have you ever mentally been in a situation where you've had a Lightning strike and had a 36-minute delay, have to leave the field and have to come back. Have you ever done that, and how challenging is that?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: I mean, it hasn't happened to me in the league, but it happened to me plenty of times growing up in Florida. But it's definitely challenging. You're trying to stay warm. You don't really know how much time it's going to be. It could be 30. It could be an hour. You just don't know. So you just gotta stay locked in and try your best to stay warm. That's the biggest thing. And then come out with that same juice.
Q. The two rookies get on the board. DEVIN SINGLETARY gets a tough down, Gabe Davis gets a touchdown. How happy are you for those guys to get their first touchdowns?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: I'm really happy. It's a great feeling to get your first of many. You know what I'm saying. So definitely they gotta cherish this moment, but I'm definitely happy for those guys, man.
Q. Just give me your reaction to Josh Allen's stat line, 417 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions. What do you think of that?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: Josh is doing what Josh do, man. He just keep getting better, you know what I'm saying. It's amazing. I just want to keep on see him keep on getting better. That's really what it is. He's a general, like I said before. So you know we're behind him 100 percent.
Q. On a day like today where the defense is missing a couple of guys and you're down in the fourth quarter. As a whole for this offense to be the side that kind of swung the game, to carry it the way you did today, how much confidence does that build for this unit? And then maybe the whole team to think we've got all kinds of different ways to win a ballgame.
DEVIN SINGLETARY: Right. It builds major confidence. You know what I'm saying. It just shows that we got each other's back, no matter what and we're always going to find a way to get that win.
Q. How good does it feel simply to be 2 and 0?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: It feels amazing, you know. Start off how we're starting off. We just gotta keep it going, and like you said, it's always fun to win at the crib.
Q. How much confidence does this give this team starting the season 2-0?
DEVIN SINGLETARY: Plenty. Plenty of confidence. Just showing what we do, going through the adversity that we've been through from week one to week two, and just gotta keep finding ways to get better.
