Postgame Presser

Bills - 31, Dolphins - 28

Q. John, first off, give me your reaction to Josh's stat line, 417 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions for your quarterback. What do you think of that?

JOHN BROWN: Oh, that's really impressive. You could tell he's developing, and he's learning from his mistakes last year. Josh continues to play a hell of a game and make smart decisions.

Q. Where do you see him learning from mistakes, specifically in this game today?

JOHN BROWN: You know, it's just certain things that all of us have to learn from. He's an easy guy to talk to. So certain mistakes we had on certain passes and stuff like that, I guarantee we'll get it fixed.

Q. The way he rallied today, does this kind of move him up another level, whether it's in his mind, the team's mind or whatever?

JOHN BROWN: I definitely think it do move him up another level, because he's real confident.

Q. John, tell me about that last touchdown you had. What happened there that let you get so wide open?

JOHN BROWN: Stephon did the route that he ran, the safety end of closing down on it. I took my route deep enough to get across the field and it was a great throw by Josh and great block by the offensive linemen.

Q. You guys returned a lot of starters from a year ago with big expectations, but you had three newcomers score today. How big is those additions from the new guys on offense and how much more dangerous do you think this offense can be this year?

JOHN BROWN: They're big conditions. We're real thankful for them. Just for those guys, they come ready to work every day, and I couldn't be more proud.

Q. How critical was this victory opening this season 2 and 0 with both of those games against division rivals?

JOHN BROWN: It was good because it's definitely hard to win on the road. So just finishing strong and playing the way we played was outstanding.

Q. Two questions, one, again, on your touchdown, do you know what the -- do you think Josh held the safety on the other side, the back side? It looked like that guy just didn't go with the play. And then man coverage, I mean do you feel like you guys showed other defenses in the league, okay, you want to play, you want to man up on some of our guys, go right ahead. What do you think of that?

JOHN BROWN: I definitely think, you know, I couldn't really see much what Josh was doing on the touchdown, but you know, the way Stefon Diggs was playing, I think they was trying to control him and slow him down. And I'm guessing Josh looked that way and then he came back to me and it was a great read. And, you know, we just gotta take it one game at a time, but if teams play us man to man, we're just going to have to bring our best game.

Q. Can you just talk about that run? I know toward the end of the first half Josh got loose and ran over a couple of linebackers. I don't know if you remember seeing that or not, but can you just talk about what kind of energy runs like that gives you guys as an offense? Does that kind of spark you guys when you see something like that?

JOHN BROWN: Oh, yeah. Definitely a spark. It definitely gives us a spark.

Q. Do you see the offense opening up a lot when defenses have to respect him as a runner like that? Can you sense that in the offense when you're out wide against defenders, that they're kind of peeking in there and looking at Josh and giving you a little more cushion out there?

JOHN BROWN: Yeah. I think that says a lot.
