Cardinals 28, Dolphins 27

JONATHAN GANNON: We didn't talk about injuries. Naquan had I think maybe a knee. I'm not sure on that. I think he came back. A thigh. Came back in the game, but I think he had to leave and try to gut through it.

In a nutshell I think it's just three phases, resiliency, belief, made plays to win a game. That's what this crew is doing right now. It starts throughout the week. It starts in the beginning of the week.

These guys don't doubt things. They come out and display winning behavior on a day-to-day basis and give yourselves a chance to win.

Obviously a bunch of big-time plays out there all three phases, but good team win on the road versus a good football team.

Q. It's a national tight ends day.

JONATHAN GANNON: McBride went off, huh?

Q. (Off microphone)

JONATHAN GANNON: When the ball goes to him, he makes a play. That's what he has done since aye been here. Big-time player for us.

Q. (Off microphone)

JONATHAN GANNON: The drive in the first or second quarter we went all the way down and scored. Then there were some big-time third downs that we converted. We hit some explosive plays. The touchdown to Marv, unbelievable catch. Unbelievable play there.

Kyler I thought was electric. They couldn't sack him. He extended plays a bunch. He had a couple of free runners, a couple of zeros I think. He extended the play. Got out of them.

He's tough back there to get down, and when he extends plays, our guys get open, and we make plays. He was lights-out too.

Q. When did you think of (indiscernible)?

JONATHAN GANNON: I thought he played well. That's what he has been doing. He'll continue to do it.

Q. (Off microphone) -- first half of the season?

JONATHAN GANNON: We're 4-4. Got a long way to go. Next game.

Q. Kyler said he felt that connection was really grown, and Trey has been able to do things on schedule. What does that look like to you?

JONATHAN GANNON: What it looks like to me is the more snaps they play with each other, you know, the whole offense -- there's an element of -- I think you see this. I see this. There's a little bit of line extension plays. We teach scramble drill, and they have rules. There's a little bit of feel to it. You know what I mean? We have some guys with some feel, and Kyler can find them.

Q. (Off microphone)

JONATHAN GANNON: They'll keep battling. We will get the next man up. We'll keep battling. I thought the one run, but I thought we were decent in the run game with how we decided to plan. I don't know what the two receivers had, but obviously a lot of assets and respect to those guys.

So we're going to play in a light box out game, and that's a tough way to go when they two more hats than you do in the box. I thought they did a good job.

They battle and made some big-time plays, knocked them behind the sticks. Made it second and long there later in the game. I felt there were a couple of second and longers, third and longers. That's because of the big guys up front.

Q. Three wins now, a game-winning drive late to get a field goal. How comfortable are you --

JONATHAN GANNON: It's belief. You know what I mean? Not to go way back in the past, but the Buffalo one we thought we were going to win the game. We didn't get it done, and they made a play.

Our guys know if we have the ball at the end of the game, two minutes, one minute, three minutes, four minutes, we feel really good about operating and winning the game. I thought you saw the one run -- the push -- we kind of pushed the pile, and they were hyped up, man. It's fun to watch that because I know that they're connected.

They're playing for each other. They're doing everything in their power to win the game. They lay it on the line, man. That's all you can ask.

Q. Is that something that gets easier?

JONATHAN GANNON: No, I don't think wins carry over, but I think confidence does, where I think that's what you are starting to see a little bit.

Q. You can hear your excitement in the locker room. How would you describe that?

JONATHAN GANNON: These last three weeks, you take two trips back and forth. You play a Monday night game. It's a short week. Those are just external factors.

We lay it out to them. Hey, this is what the challenge is. This is what the week is going to look like. We have to get ready to play good ball to get a win. It was good today.

Q. 2 for 2 on challenging now. Is there convictions to get that --

JONATHAN GANNON: Talk to Kenny.

Q. (Off microphone)

JONATHAN GANNON: He's a prime time player. You know, he does it in practice. We try to rattle him in practice. He's got ice water in his veins right now. To have that type of confidence how we decide the play the last two games, there's other ways you can play that game.

We think that's the best thing to do, those last two. Maybe it's not always like that, but these last two, let's end the ball and kick a field goal and get out of here, and that's what we've done.

Q. It means something more to have come from behind.

JONATHAN GANNON: Yeah, we were. Yeah. I mean, at halftime I don't know what we were down, but there's resiliency in that locker room. They've been through some battles. It hasn't went their way.

You keep doing the right things on a day-to-day based, and you are going to give yourself a chance to win, and that's what we're doing.

Q. Did you see everything in practice this week? You talk about the day-to-day basis to suggest that (indiscernible) --

JONATHAN GANNON: He practices his ass off all the time. When the ball comes to him, he is going to continue to make plays. The plays that he made shook out. That was the right read. Kyler gave him a chance, and he made a bunch of plays.

There's no panic in my game to what type of player he is. Zero. Zero panic. He is here for a reason. He got drafted here for a reason. He's going to be a big-time player for us, and he is a big-time player for us. The kid is lights-out, man.

Q. (Off microphone)

JONATHAN GANNON: Just the competitiveness. Run by people, catch the ball in traffic. I mean, the play-making, scoring points. Why we brought him here.
