Cardinals 28, Dolphins 27
Q. What were you thinking on the play that was challenged? Did you think you had it?
MARVIN HARRISON: I told them, Review it, review it. In that situation J.J. has to make the call and see the replay and the challenge. So I was trying to stall the offense to give J.J. some time to see the replay. I knew I caught the ball.
Q. What did you see on that touchdown?
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, we were on man coverage on that look. We did have a chance to go zero in that situation. So kind of drew up a great play. It is the quarterback coach who has been kind of calling that for a couple of weeks now, so glad we got it called. The play call, he is excited about that. Yeah, yeah.
Q. On the third and 16 when it got challenged, it looked like you located the ball late, and you had to go get it. What was going on the field for you?
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, obviously I had one of the best corners, if not the best corner in the game, so I knew I had a great route to get open. Hopefully Kyler has as much time as he can to give me the opportunity. Before playing started he said if it's a man coverage, get open in the corner, get open in the corner. He'll call a man read right there. I knew I had to run a great route, and I came down with the ball.
Q. Is this how you envisioned --
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, definitely (laughing).
Q. So is that route that you were just talking about, was it an option route or --
MARVIN HARRISON: No, straight corner route.
Q. You were saying he would find that --
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, if it's man coverage.
Q. Did you feel like everything was coming to you?
MARVIN HARRISON: I just try to go out there and make plays when the ball comes my way. I know in big situations, big moments I'm someone that -- I try to be someone we can count on to make the plays for us. Any time there's a two-minute drill or we need to make a big play, I do my best to get open and touch the ball.
Q. On the last drive, first of all, it was a great throw, but what did you see on that play?
MARVIN HARRISON: I didn't think it would be man coverage. I thought it would be cover two out of the corner. Kind of rolled me down the whole field, and I kind of slacked it off inside, and Kyler gave me a great ball. I kind of seen a linebacker coming. This time I was coming down with the catch.
Q. You saw the safety coming down?
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, I saw that the linebacker came and made sure he could a hit on me.
Q. (Indiscernible)?
MARVIN HARRISON: No, no, I ran a different route.
Q. So much has been talked about (indiscernible). Does it feel nice to have you guys come as a group?
MARVIN HARRISON: It feels great. It does feel great. It's hard to get wins in this league. It's hard to be successful in this league, period, so obviously we have to keep going, keep building on this and never get complacent. Definitely feels great.
Q. What does somebody like Trey McBride open up for you in the passing game?
MARVIN HARRISON: Any time you have other receivers out there -- I think we have a great group of Dortch, Mike, and Zay back there. I think we can all make plays. I think just having a great group allows you to get your one-on-one matchups and allows you to go out there and win.
No one person can be out there getting all the targets and things like that. Any time you can kind of spread the ball around, it makes the whole offense better.
Q. Kyler said that you guys had been figuring it out. I assume you figured it out. What was that?
MARVIN HARRISON: At the end of the day I think it just comes down to execution. I have to run the right route. I have to run a great route to get open. I catch the ball. He needs to do his part as well. That's what it comes down to at the end of the day.
Q. No secret sauce?
MARVIN HARRISON: Yeah, no secret sauce. Yeah.
