BRADLEY CHUBB: When you get a chance to get reps early in the season, you just see the growth in them. J. Marsh, he's a guy that just keeps his head down at work. You always mess with him and say, talk, say something. He's just always head down, working, to see him get that pick today, I know he's just happy to get that first one out of the way.
Zeke, he shows up every day, he's 6'6", 330. We tell him every day to be a dog. That's my guy man, we're just excited for him.
Q. The first sack on Baker was the 300th tackle of your career. What does that mean to you?
BRADLEY CHUBB: I didn't even know that. It's cool. I need to get more tackles, though.
Q. When you started celebrating, did you know that Q-Bell had recovered the fumble at that point?
BRADLEY CHUBB: I had tried to pick it up, and I saw it in Q's grasp. I was like, all right, he got it. I'm going to get up and celebrate now. We're going to get up and dance together, but right now I'm going to hit this one.
Q. Some of the incentives are complicated. Some of them seem to be tied into where the team finishes and average points scored by opponent. Are you going to try to figure out the math on all that at this point?
BRADLEY CHUBB: Honestly, nah, man. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. My story is already written. God put me in these shoes to lead, to live the way I'm living. If it's supposed to be, it's supposed to be. If it's not, WHOOP dedo.
