Packers 30, Seahawks 13

THE MODERATOR: Questions for Jordan.

Q. What was the key to just getting off to such a fast start the first two drives?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, no, that is definitely something that we've focused on all week, we've talked about all week, is starting fast. Something that the week before we didn't do a good enough job on.

It was definitely something that we focused on. I think we did a great job of coming out fast, putting up some touchdowns early, and the defense doing a great job of getting the ball back for us.

That's when we're at our best, starting fast, getting the ball, putting up points, going from there.

Q. What kind comfort does it give to a quarterback that you have a running back that you give it to him eight straight times?

JORDAN LOVE: A lot of confidence. Especially when he's running the ball the way he is, coming up with some big gains right there. I think when that guy is hot, you want to keep giving him the ball, feeding him.

I think just his ability to stay in there, take those hits, keep running the way he does. A special player, for sure.

Q. We look at this turnaround for you since the bye. How much of it is since you have the running game it makes things easier at your position?

JORDAN LOVE: Definitely. Whenever you're running the ball well, the next stop is the defense is going to try to figure out a way to take that away. They might load the box more, do things like that.

Anytime you can run the ball, I think it sets up play-action, too, sets up more stuff down the field.

Q. Each week do you feel more of a connection with Christian, kind of know where he's going to be?

JORDAN LOVE: No, I think me and Christian, all the receivers, have a great connection. I think just trying to get him those targets has been something we've been trying to do lately. He's been doing a great job.

I think obviously there were a couple deep balls today that were left short. Wish I was able to put them more out there for those guys, make a play. They're doing a great job of trying to fight through contact, drawing some of those PI calls.

Obviously trying to get him the ball as much as possible, the way he is running down the field, getting past some of these DBs. Definitely something to keep going going forward.

Q. Route to Romeo on the last touchdown is exactly where you wanted him to be?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, no, he's just running the post. They brought all-out pressure. He just went inside and I just threw it up for him. He made a play.

But it was definitely a lot closer the back end line than I thought it would be. But yeah, all out he's got to make a play one on one with that DB, and he came up with with it.

Q. What was the situation with the clock at the end of the first half? Were you trying to get into field goal range?

JORDAN LOVE: We had a shot play called right there. We were definitely trying to take the top off and score a touchdown. I think that's always the mindset in those two-minute situations. We had a timeout, so we were trying to push the ball down the field.

We drew the PI call there with a couple seconds left. We were trying to (indiscernible) down the field.

Q. Explosive first half for you. Seemed to take a while to get your feet underneath yourselves in the second half.

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, I don't think they did anything crazy, anything that we might not have been expecting. I think we came out and just weren't making the same plays we were making the first half. That was probably the most disappointing part of the game for us, is the second half. We didn't feel like we got back in that rhythm, in that groove, and continue to move the ball.

I think more than anything we were hurting ourselves in some of those situations.

Q. You know how good you can be. How important is it to be able to put those fourth quarters together?

JORDAN LOVE: Very important. We talk about it all week. This is a playoff-type game here, a playoff team on the other side, a very good team, in an away environment.

It's something that we're going to have to clean up, just having that consistency for four quarters and be able to put together a four-quarter battle.

We always talk about in these games somehow it always comes down to the last couple minutes. Teams find a way to put up points, do different things. You have to keep having that foot on the gas, keep making the big-time plays we were making in the first half.

We definitely got to do better of playing a complete four-quarter game.

Q. How much control did you actually feel on the road compared to Detroit? Did you just feel like everything was in control?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, no, I mean, I think the guys did a good job communicating in the huddle, staying locked in with the snap count, being able to hear Josh up there and doing those different things. I think it's a credit to everybody on the offense doing a good job of handling the noise, the environment.

To that point, too, I think the Packer fans did a great job showing up for this game. It was packed out with a lot of Packer fans, which actually helps out.

Q. Did you get a hard count on the guy who jumped when you completed the ball to Tucker?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, we got him.

Q. On a hard count?

JORDAN LOVE: Yes.

Q. Finding that consistency, how good did it feel to punctuate it with the Romeo touchdown?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, no, that was a really nice play and a really nice job because the couple drives before that, we just felt like we weren't getting much out of it. We weren't executing at that high level, making those plays we were making.

To kind of have some of those drives stall out, then to put a drive down the field and finish with that touchdown right there, Rome making a great catch, definitely helps you to be able to breathe a little bit better.

Q. I know you got confidence in all your receivers. What did it mean to get Rome back after missing a couple games?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, no, it was awesome. That's something I really haven't seen that of Rome, running guys over, carrying them, putting the team on his back. I think it just shows how much he loves it, is willing to fight for those extra yards, fight to get that touchdown. That was a great play by him.

You always want to have your best guys out there healthy. It was tough not having Rome out there. To get him back and obviously him having those two touchdowns was huge tonight. He's one of our best play-makers on offense. It's always good having him back out there.

Q. How helpful was the interception?

JORDAN LOVE: That was huge. Like I said, just having those drives stall out on offense, then for Coop to be able to go out there and get that pick, almost was able to take it back it looked like.

He had a great game. We just talked about it in there. Coach read off his stat line. Hearing some of that stuff, he had a crazy game. You've seen the work he's put in throughout the course of this season. He's getting better every week. He's a phenomenal player. It's good to see him go out there and have that success.

Q. What did it feel like to hear the Packer fans?

JORDAN LOVE: That's something I don't think anybody will ever forget. Definitely the game started off loud. Even from the get-go, just seeing all those Packer fans there was awesome. Obviously to have those 'Go Pack Go' chants ring through the stadium was a great feeling.

Q. How do you feel about where this team is right now getting your 10th win tonight?

JORDAN LOVE: Yeah, I feel really good. I think we're in a really good spot. I think we got to do the same thing we've talked about all season, just take it one game at a time and finish this season off, be where we want to be for playoffs.

I like where we're at. We just got to keep figuring out ways to get better, keep pushing each other, finding ways to get these wins to end the season off.

But I like where we're at.
