Q. What was the difference in the line, 470 yards?
MV: Give our guys credit. But this game is about points, not stats.
Q. Your defense -- stopping the run, the scrimmages, maybe had a little advantage, yet they were able to move the ball a little bit, max played a pretty good game, your first time seeing him what were they doing to get points?
MV: They were able to throw it and complete passes. We didn't rush well enough and cover well enough.
Q. Passes over the middle for the quarterback, seemed like he got a lot of opportunities. Is that a way for him to get in a rhythm?
MV: Well, we just never -- I don't think we did enough to disrupt the middle of the pocket give them credit. Be curious, some screen yardage in there. They do a nice job of screens and that was something that we knew coming in.
Good plan. We didn't play well enough or coach well enough.
