Patriots 27, Jets 14
Q. Justin, how would you assess your performance tonight?
JF: Not good enough. You know, we lost the game, so wasn't good enough. Every time we lose, my performance isn't good enough.
Q. What was working on that first drive? Seemed like you had some rhythm and just kind of momentum. (Video glitch.)
JUSTIN FIELDS: Whatever I have to do to get this team as successful as can be and for us to reach our highest potential, I'm willing to do whatever.
So if that's me running the ball, that's what it is.
Q. How difficult is it when you have two receivers who have only been here for like a week or less --
JF: Uh-huh.
Q. -- and a lot of guys you aren't too familiar with. How much of an impact is that on you?
JF: You kind of just have to roll with it and deal with it. You can't look at your circumstances. Just got to go out there and play. I thought those guys did a good job, you know, overall. Lot of plays we want back as an offense, but we just got to keep working and keep going.
I mean, yeah, it's tough, but at the end of the day you can't complain about it. It's the circumstances we're in right now. I know we're going to come back next week and get back to work.
Q. How big a blow is it not having Garrett?
JF: I mean, it's a big blow. Like I said, it's our circumstances. It is what it is. These guys are going continue getting ops and we're just going to keep building.
