Q. JJ, with the turn of the game, what did you think about the way it went, the up and down nature of it?
JJ WATT: I don't think it went well. Go into the half up 21 to 20, as a defensive player, if you don't give up another point you win the game, and we gave up a touchdown, unfortunately.
So didn't win the game. Got to find a way to finish games, find a way to finish this game, and we didn't. Got to, make a play, got to make a stop, and it's on me.
Q. J.J, thoughts about the inability to stop the run, especially, again, fourth quarter?
JJ WATT: Yeah, it's extremely frustrating. We got a sudden edge, we got to get hands to the ball, and we make the plays.
We're just giving up runs around edge like it was easy. We can't do that. We cannot do that.
We got to watch film, we go to figure it out, but we cannot -- I mean, we're not going to win football games doing what we're doing in the fourth quarter these last two weeks of giving up these runs.
Q. I know you're focused on what happened on the field, but some thoughts about being out there with your brothers and getting a chance to chat with them before and after?
JJ WATT: Yeah, it's all right. Someday we'll look back and it'll be pretty cool, but right now, sitting at 0-3, it doesn't feel that great. It's a special thing for our family, but right now it's about Houston Texans and figuring out what we need to do to win a football game.
Q. You guys have played the run well for three quarters. Is it getting worn down in the fourth quarter from being on the field so long?
JJ WATT: I don't know. I don't know what it is. I don't know why we can play the run well early on and not finish it.
So I need to get that answer so we can figure it out. We have to -- I mean, whether we're not playing our gaps because -- I don't know what it is, but we got to figure it out. You're going to lose football games and we are losing football games, and we need to win.
Q. JJ, you played a lot of football for this team. Are you worried at all about anyone on the team panicking? If so, anything you can do to keep the team on track when you're in a tough spot like this?
JJ WATT: I mean, you really have no choice. We're coming into work tomorrow and we're going to have film to watch of this game to get better and we'll have Vikings film to watch for next week, and Wednesday we're going to have practices.
So I mean, you don't have any choice but to come in and try and improve and get better. I don't know what the alternative to that would be. If you're not interested in getting better and finding ways to get better, then you're probably in the wrong profession and you shouldn't be in sports.
That's what this job is. It's finding a way every day to get better, every week to get better, and right now we need to do that in a hurry.
Q. Were there any communication issues? There was a busted coverage on JuJu, but just your thoughts on general communication issues.
JJ WATT: I don't play DB. I have no idea. Thanks.
