Steelers-26, Browns-22
Q. What was going through your mind when you see Nick having to be carted off, and what kind of injury is that and what he has meant to you all?
MYLES GARRETT: It (expletive) hurts. It's our brother. That's my brother, and we've been together for a long time.
I mean, it's a blow for the whole team, and we don't want his injury to be in vain. We have to push on. You know, that's what he would want us to do. If he had any choice in the matter, that's what he would do.
So just have to continue to fight and use it as motivation.
Q. How does Nick sort of embody the spirit and soul of the Cleveland Browns affected?
MYLES GARRETT: A man of few words. He just keeps his head down, and he is always working. That's the integrity he has to us and to the game, and that's what we have to have now and especially for him.
Q. How do you process the whole night: The Nick Chubb injury, the way you guys played and fought and ran in the fourth quarter and then lose on two defensive scores?
MYLES GARRETT: It's tough. I mean, they're a tough defense. They made some big plays when they needed to, and we made big plays when we needed to. Just have to follow through.
It's those small margins that separate you from 1-1 and 2-0. One side of the ball there were a couple of plays that slipped away from us on defense, special teams. Everywhere we can be just a little bit better.
Q. (Indiscernible).
MYLES GARRETT: I mean, leave with a W. Not well enough. We held them where we needed to rushing-wise and made a couple of plays. Made that big play to Pickens that really got them fired up, but we were able to dive back in and make some plays.
As far as getting the stops we needed to, we got that done, but we need to get those take-aways. If we get our hands on the ball, then we have to be able to come up with it or score with it.
Q. How might you respond or do something differently at all in the wake of this injury to Nick? Will it inspire you to dedicate or to try anything different?
MYLES GARRETT: We're not going to do anything different. I mean, we're just going to do it with a little bit more fire.
Q. It seems like a couple of times you weren't in as often as last week. Was that just rotational?
MYLES GARRETT: That was just rotation. I always want to be in there, and I don't care if I'm tired. I don't care if I'm sitting on the field before they snap them. I get my butt up, and I'm going to get after that ball and try to make a play.
Just trying to work the other guys in and need some fresh legs in because, you know, they're going to need us when the time matters in the fourth.
Unfortunately there wasn't a last drive we could really tee off on as far as getting the ball away from them, but just keeping me ready for those kind of situations.
Q. What's that shock factor like when you watched the Nick injury? How did you think you guys handled that?
MYLES GARRETT: We could have handled it better. We made some mistakes. I mean, we were a little bit sloppy in areas, but I mean, the grit was there.
The guys fought their ass off, but just have to be a little bit more focused, got to be a little bit more attentive to details. I think that's what separated winners from the losers tonight.
Q. Do you believe that all of your goals and dreams and hopes for the season are still --
MYLES GARRETT: We're 1-1.
