Q. Just talk about the overall game. Hitting some deep passes, things were going your way. Outstanding game for you guys. Just talk a little bit about it.
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. I was really excited about the rhythm that we found especially early on. And that just comes back to taking what the defense gives me, and those deep shots will come. And they did. Just really proud of the way we executed.
Q. And for good measure, that last one, one of your few throws that wasn't your best. Talk about that one.
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. We'll take those when we get them, no doubt. But, man, I'm just -- Sleep came up with a great play right there and never gave up on it. And it turned out fortunate for us.
Q. You talk about how the game unfolded. In the first series, you got sacked twice. Looked like there were more -- there was continuing pressure, but that didn't happen -- you didn't get sacked again. How did you adjust to that?
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. We just were able to overcome it. You know, the line was doing a really good job, especially after that first drive -- even in that first drive really. But, you know, just proud of the way we overcame that and didn't let it slow us down. And we went and executed.
Q. Last week, got out to a strong lead, looked like you were in control at halftime. But this week you got out -- you know, similar lead. But you kept -- instead of letting them back in, you kept the pedal down and pretty much finished them off at halftime. I mean, they weren't going to come back when it's 40 to 3. But talk about being able to finish this one off.
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. That was definitely our mentality, especially with a game like last week's was to go in the locker room and keep the foot on the gas. That's what we were talking about in there. That was the whole mentality. And the defense did such a good job shutting them down. Made it a lot more comfortable for us. And we were able to go relax and make big plays.
Q. On the first drive, you started out 9 for 9. Does that affect your performance at all whenever you start out like that? Does it help you throughout the rest of the game?
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. That's the rhythm we find right there. That's what it is, the rhythm and the momentum, being able to carry that through the whole game. That was just a great way to start it off.
Q. The first drive, you had a couple long third down conversions. I think the last one was 3rd and 15. If you don't get that, you know, you give them the ball back, they might go down and get a lead, and the game completely different. So just talk about how important it is to pick up those early first downs, third and long?
DAVIS BRIN: Yeah. Those were huge conversions. You know, putting ourselves in a third and long isn't great, but being able to get out of them was essential to really keeping the drive going and keeping that rhythm that we found.
Q. So you had four touchdowns and all to four different receivers. I was wondering how you thought your ability to spread the ball out was this game, finding four different receivers for touchdowns?
DAVIS BRIN: It's really a privilege to have those guys be able to make plays and having four of them and J. Ford caught a touchdown also. But, I mean, those guys are tremendous. And we've been just growing in our chemistry. And being able to spread the ball around is definitely just a privilege, like I said.
Q. In your mind, what's a good time to come out when you guys are up big? Were you okay coming out?
DAVIS BRIN: Whenever coach tells me really. I'm going to go in there and do my job to the best of my ability until he tells me to relax.
Q. What did you see from the backups that went in after you and how they played?
DAVIS BRIN: I was really proud of the way they stepped up. I mean, experience is huge. When I was in that position, every chance being on the field I wanted to take advantage of. And they did that tonight. So I was really proud of those young guys.
Appreciate you all. Thanks.
