Oklahoma State 45, Tulsa 10
Q. Overall thoughts on the game?
KAMDYN BENJAMIN: I mean, obviously we wanted to come out with a different outcome. We were able to move the ball a little bit, weren't able to finish and put points on the board, so we're just going to have to find what was successful and fix the mistakes and build on it going forward.
Q. You have had a stand-out first three games. What can you do to help the other guys in the receiving room kind of raise their level and what kind of encouragement and how much do you talk to those guys about trying to do that?
KAMDYN BENJAMIN: I talk to them all the time. I mean, we all bounce ideas all of each other, me included. We're just going to keep building, obviously, experience for everybody. A lot of people played in this game and a lot of people played over the last three games and I think experience is key. It helps you grow as a player. Obviously, I got better as I played and they'll continue to do the same. You learn from your mistakes and keep building and I kind of just tell them that. Keep building, stay positive. Everything's going to come. We have a lot ahead of us and we just have to keep improving each week and we have a lot of football ahead of us and I think we have a lot of good football ahead of us, so we have to keep improving and that's what I keep preaching to everybody.
Q. How do you allow this weekend not to beat you next weekend or down the line?
KAMDYN BENJAMIN: I mean, you have to just go in and watch it. You have to go home and watch the tape and be honest with yourself. You have to see all the good and the bad. When you see what's good and keep it and build on it and use that in your game and when you see the mistakes and the bad and what got us beat, we have to figure out how to fix that moving forward and just be better when we see the next person, because, I mean, everybody's going to see it and everybody's going to know what our deficiencies are. We're going to have to fix those ourselves and just be better.
Q. What are some things that you saw out there that you can build on for Louisiana Tech?
KAMDYN BENJAMIN: I mean, I think consistently throughout the game we were able to move the ball. We got down the field. We got in scoring range a few times. We just weren't able to finish, so we're going to have to build on that and continue to move the ball and just improve on finishing drives and actually putting points on the board because that's what's important at the end of the day. I mean, you can put up all the yards you want. If you don't score, you can't win. So we're just going to have to continue to move the ball and improve and build on that.
Q. How was their speed or their ability compared to what you guys thought maybe coming in? Were they better than you thought they were going to end up being?
KAMDYN BENJAMIN: I mean, I don't think they were overly, like, impressive or -- they're a great football team. I'm not going to take anything away from them. They play great football. They're big. They're strong. They're fast. They are who they are. They are the number 13 or 14 team in the nation. They play great football. They play sound defense, and we obviously didn't attack it like we needed to, but I think we're a great team as well so I think we have the ability to play with teams like this. We just have to execute better and be better, obviously.
MODERATOR: Anything else, guys? Awesome. Thank you, Kam.
