Q. I know you guys did acquire Joshua Dobbs the other day. Took a look at the quarterbacks. Where do you feel like the quarterback situation is right now?
A. Yeah, we like Josh. Just added another piece, and just I feel like it's -- we'll continue to evaluate as we move forward and go from there.
Q. Who will be starting?
A. We'll see. No starters named.
Q. Coach, what have you learned about your team?
A. They'll fight.
Q. What did you like out of Zach McCloud?
A. Yeah, he's had really good energy since he got here this week. You know, he wants to play football and has showed some good things today.
Q. What about Jesse's versatility?
A. Yeah, it's awesome. I mean, we put a lot on his plate. He responds. He wants to play football. He loves being out there his teammates. Versatile piece for us.
Q. How are Gaines and Daley?
A. We'll see. Got to see what the medics say. Gainsey had a little bit of a knee I think. Daley had an ankle. Arias is in the protocol. He got knocked on the one, so see how we go through the next week.
Q. (Regarding minutes for Josh Dobbs.)
A. Yeah, good question. He's played a lot of football and been in a system similar to ours. See as we get going.
Q. Did you like how Clayton took another step today?
A. I did. The one strip sack fumble was a big play in the game, and next play out he throws an explosive to Dortch. So I like how he had a quick memory. He responded the right way. I think we scored a field goal on that drive. Thought he took a step forward.
Q. You have so many guys competing for roster spots, to see the effort you got the second half...
A. Yeah, they care. They care. So tells me we got the makeup that we want in that locker room.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
A. Yeah, we'll go through all the tape from all of camp and start making decisions here.
Q. Going into this, first time for you.
A. Yeah, I mean, obviously I lean on Monti, but we're going to do what's best for the team and talk to everybody involved, the players, and make the decisions based on that.
Q. When you look back at what you've accomplished, what do you see?
A. Got a long way to go. Got to get better and got to learn and keep taking steps forward if we want to be competitive on game day.
