Vikings 22, 49ers 17
Q. How did you feel physically out there today?
A: Really doesn't matter. If you're out there, you have a responsibility to your teammates to play the best you can. I can't make those mistakes like that early in the game.
Q. What was the feeling in the locker room after this game?
A: Anytime you lose, it's a bad feeling. I think we have a team that's hypercritical of each individual. We can't just let it trickle down. Got to take a good, hard look in the mirror. I know I'll do that.
I made a bad mistake today that I believe cost us the game if I don't fumble that ball. Put it on me. Go from there.
Q. What happened?
A: Lost the ball.
Q. (No microphone.)
A: Yeah, always try to fight, but...
Q. The second touchdown, what was the team's mindset at that point?
A: I mean, anytime we're out there, we believe we can score. It's just a matter of going out there and executing.
Q. What do you think this team needs to do now after two losses?
A: We just have to play well on game day. We practice hard. We got all the right guys. We just have to play well.
I don't even want to speak for anyone else. I'll just speak for myself. I can't put the ball on the ground. I have to do better than that.
Q. Jaylon making a big start. How do you think he did today?
A: I think he did great. Come in there, do what he did. Had a great week of practice. I thought he did great out there.
Q. (Question about the bye week.)
A: No, I mean, you just have to let the anger fuel you in the right ways, come out and just be obsessed with executing and just doing your job.
We got the right guys for that mentality. This isn't a team that's going to start folding or anything like that. Like I said, we just have to play better on the game day.
