BRUCE FELDMAN: Can he get medically cleared in time for next week's huge game in South Bend against Notre Dame.

Now here's the key to this. My sources tell me Trevor Lawrence tested positive on Wednesday. According to ACC COVID guidelines, which mandate a 10-day isolation period, but that period actually can start when the player first experiences symptoms. So that could have been on Tuesday. That even could have been on Monday of earlier this week if that's what the Clemson medical staff has determined.

And so if he is symptom-free on the last 24 hours of that 10-day period, which would be late this coming week, then in fact Trevor Lawrence could be medically cleared to play against the Irish next Saturday night.

ROB STONE: Having to do a lot of back-timing on when the symptoms hit. Bruce, thanks. We'll check back with you a little later in the show.

In the Big Ten, it's another COVID story. Wisconsin, remember last week they rode Graham Mertz's record-setting day to that Friday night win. They had to cancel today's meeting with Nebraska after an outbreak reached Mertz, Paul Chryst and many others on the staff. More from Bruce coming up on this later.

Last night in the Big Ten, it was two programs that got staggered a bit last week -- Minnesota at Maryland. Minnesota was up 17 in the fourth quarter. Terps pushed them to overtime.

REGGIE BUSH: Another pylon guy for the touchdown.

ROB STONE: 458 total yards for him. Seth Green, love his work "Family Guy," runs it in from 2 yards out. Extra point to push it to double-OT and he pushes it wide right.

REGGIE BUSH: Kicker's got one job and that's it. I Don't want to hear no excuses, don't want to hear nothing. Make the kick.

ROB STONE: Row the boat is 0-2 right now. A lot to process already from one weekend change from the Big Ten. Your biggest takeaway from the conference?

MATT LEINART: I think it's what Coach said a few minutes ago. The Big Ten West -- the focus is on Ohio State and Penn State and Michigan. I get that, but someone has to come out of the Big Ten West. And you just touched on Wisconsin, dealing with quarterback issues, COVID issues there.

Minnesota won 11 games last year. They're 0-2. They're out of the race.

How about Northwestern and Fitzy? We gotta keep getting him on Facetimes, because they're balling. Their Achilles' heel last year was offense; one of the worst offenses in college football. That's not the case this year. They scored over 40 points last week. They have a transfer quarterback in Peyton Ramsey, who is more than qualified to win football games.

Their running back went over a hundred yards last week. They're one of the more experienced teams back in all of college football this year. I'm telling you, they may be the team that comes out on top at the end of the season.

URBAN MEYER: I agree, and Ohio State, the best team in the Big Ten, but their defense is relatively new. They don't have that marquee pass rusher yet, but then also the secondary -- three new starters.

We were there. Nebraska, I don't think they challenged them one time. The offensive skill at Nebraska is way down. We stood there and watched it. I couldn't wait to watch these young corners play. They're very talented -- Sevyn Banks and Cam Brown -- are they talented enough to hang in there? We'll find out today against Penn State. Penn State, I'm not sure it's elite offensive skill like they had a couple years ago but it's good offensive skill.

BRADY QUINN: Yeah, and they've got some guys. They've got some guys who could be mismatches. It will be fun to watch. I was with you, Coach. Not seeing much edge pressure, Haskell Garrett there, interior defensive tackle. He had a good game. That group will be tested today versus Penn State.

The other thing that stood out, a changing of the guards at Michigan, Joe Milton taking over as the starting quarterback. He's the first quarterback that Jim Harbaugh has recruited to start an opener. Think about that. It's crazy to think about, but he looks tailor-fitted for this offense since they've switched to more of a spread with their offensive coordinator Josh Gattis. I'm excited about them. I think he oozes potential and talent. It's just about continuing to get better and progress as the season goes on.

REGGIE BUSH: Like you said, that's going to be key, how he progresses. I can't wait to see him just continue to grow and grow throughout the season.

But from a defensive standpoint, man, to me the Michigan defensive effort was just obvious all over the place. It was infectious -- defensive line, linebackers, they were a physical mismatch all day. And they dominated the line of scrimmage and they were constantly in the backfield.

To me, this Michigan defense, the Michigan team right now, just their effort to me is the difference from last year to this year.

ROB STONE: For another take, let's bring in Joel Klatt calling today's game with our good friend Gus Johnson. Joel, your big takeaway from last weekend besides Gus and his Filipino fighting sticks, what was it?

JOEL KLATT: I've got to tell you, first of all, my first takeaway for today is that Matt needs a drink with an umbrella in it with that tie that he's got on. Excellent job in there, Matty.

But from the Big Ten last week, I thought it was actually the lack of running production from the running backs for Ohio State.

Remember, J.K. Dobbins rushed for 2,000 yards a year ago, well over six yards per carry. And you go back to last week against Nebraska, and Trey Sermon and Master Teague, the two backs they hope replace some of that production, they combine for under 100 yards and only three and a half yards per carry on those carries.

So Ohio State's going to have to find some running production outside of Justin Fields if they want to be as potent as they were a year ago, in particular with JK Dobbins in the NFL.

ROB STONE: Thank you, Joel.

Coming up, Coach has some ideas on how Ohio State will rectify that running game.

Look who is joining us this week on team Big Noon Kickoff. Do you hear the music? Coach, do you know the song? The wolverine legend, Charles Woodson, with some hardware.

CHARLES WOODSON: Ascots and Heismans, baby. Hey, Matt, you dropped something.

MATT LEINART: Thanks, man. Thanks for coming.

CHARLES WOODSON: What's up? Great to see you guys.

ROB STONE: Ascots and Heisman, that's what we do in Ann Arbor. Jim Harbaugh and Michigan put up 49 points at Minnesota last week. That was their second-most points in a road game in 20 years. Michigan fans, oh, boy, they're fired up today. A lot of optimism going on with those in maize and blue. Looking for their 72nd win over their in-state rival coming up noon Eastern.

[COMMERCIAL]

ROB STONE: Still to come on Big Noon Kickoff, Reggie catches up with one of the top running backs in the country, Oklahoma State star Chuba Hubbard.

[COMMERCIAL]

ROB STONE: Difficult Spartan start for Mel Tucker. A rivalry game, great way to bounce back with the program, Brady.

BRADY QUINN: Yeah, look, they held Rutger's offense to 276 total yards. It's the turnovers. They've got to clean that up. You can't have seven turnovers in a game.

ROB STONE: That one coming up noon Eastern on Fox. Kirby Smart and No. 5 Georgia, Coach, on the road at Kentucky today.

URBAN MEYER: Yeah, they had a bye week after that devastating loss Alabama. The Georgia defense gave up the most yards ever, a Kirby Smart defense against Alabama. They have a bye week to get that ready.

ROB STONE: Here's Reggie with the playmaker of the week.

REGGIE BUSH: Oklahoma State has a big opportunity in front of them today going up against Texas. And if they get this win today, it's going to be because of this man right here -- Chuba Hubbard, my playmaker of the week.

One of the things that comes to mind when I think about your running style is patient. Where does that patience come from?

CHUBA HUBBARD: We have a really talented running back group here at Oklahoma State. I try to pick a little bit of everything from everybody.

REGGIE BUSH: When I watch you, I think you have the complete package. Is there anything from your perspective that you think you need to get better at?

CHUBA HUBBARD: I'm always trying to work at something, trying to improve my routes, my vision my patience. I haven't perfected anything yet.

>> Off to the races, nobody's going to catch him. Chuba. Queue on that. How good are you?

REGGIE BUSH: What do you think this last win says about Oklahoma State?

CHUBA HUBBARD: That we're legit. It was 4-0, but we're past that. We're on to 5-0. That's the goal. That's the discussion here. We're hoping it can fall in our corner.

REGGIE BUSH: You've got to play Texas this weekend. They've got a beast of a quarterback up there, Sam Ehlinger. What's the game plan? What's the focus this week?

CHUBA HUBBARD: Texas is a great team. Obviously they've got Sam and a bunch of crazy weapons on offense and probably one of the best defenses in the Big 12. We just gotta stick to our game plan, trust our coaching and do what we do. Ball up, and hopefully we can get it.

REGGIE BUSH: Oh, yeah, welcome to Club Heisman. We've got a guest for you all today. But he's no guest to Club Heisman, man. He's one of the best to ever do it. And he's the only defensive player to ever win the Heisman Trophy. Matt, you know what they do when he pulls up to Club Heisman?

MATT LEINART: They open up that velvet rope for him.

REGGIE BUSH: Come on in, Mr. Charles Woodman.

CHARLES WOODSON: Don't mind if I do.

MATT LEINART: Know what I'm doing? I'm holding the sparklers and the champagne when they get to the table.

CHARLES WOODSON: Have my table ready, baby.

REGGIE BUSH: Charles, have you seen Michigan's remodeled Club Heisman? I don't know if you've seen this yet.

CHARLES WOODSON: We've got our own Club Heisman in Ann Arbor. That looks good. Beautiful. Look how the color just pops out at you. I like that. I'm impressed.

REGGIE BUSH: Let's get to some business, man, because we have some players that have been absolutely balling up until this point. So I want to kick it off -- we've got a couple VIPs we know are going to be in the club for a while, Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones and Justin Fields -- but I want to kick it off with a guy who was out, in, out. So I want to start with Spencer Rattler.

Your kid has been absolutely playing lights out. Since he got benched in the Red River Showdown all he's been doing is dropping dimes all over the place -- 50 yards, 60 yards, it does not matter. And this is what the NFL scouts want to see; they want to see you throw the long ball accurately.

Then I saw the escapability from Spencer Rattler. And to me what this says is he's just getting comfortable. He's just getting comfortable in the backfield. So, I think the biggest part to this whole thing he's only a freshman. That's the only part. He's only a freshman. Charles, who do you want to add in the Club Heisman?

CHARLES WOODSON: I know you don't want to talk about the VIPs because you know they're going to be there. But you've got to say something about Justin Fields. He made a throw last week, a post route. Quarterbacks, a lot of times they throw the post route over the top of the receiver, allow the DB to make up ground. But he led Garrett Wilson on the post route beautifully.

Look at him. If he could just keep running up under the ball, I love that.

But, listen, I have my own VIP -- Travis Etienne. Yeah, the Clemson running back. He is the man behind this offense. When they need a play, a spark, a home run, they go to Travis Etienne. This guy can run in between the tackles, run off tackle.

And what a great receiver he is out of the backfield. I'm going to tell you this: Once he puts that thing into sixth gear, you can forget about it. He's taking it to the house. So, Travis Etienne. He's my VIP this week. Matt, who have you got?

MATT LEINART: Listen, I know we have Najee Harris in there, but I'm sick of these running backs. I've got to stick with my QBs. Listen, this ain't the chess club. This is not the book club. This isn't checkers. This is Club Heisman, and my man Zach Wilson from BYU, welcome to the club, my man.

How about this? More touchdowns than our VIP, Trevor Lawrence, at 22. More passing yards than Mac Jones. And most importantly, BYU is undefeated. They're the 11th-ranked team in the country. I think they have a great shot to go undefeated.

Hey, he's been moving up that line outside the club. He's in. He's also moving up draft boards. I love this kid, guys.

CHARLES WOODSON: For me, I'm the only defensive player to win the Heisman, so I've got to have a plus-one, don't I. I'm looking at Kwity Paye. Last week he just dominated this football game -- two sacks, three tackles for loss. Reggie, if you would, I just need a plus-one, Kwity Paye.

MATT LEINART: You can have plus-20. You can bring whoever you want on the bus. You know that.

CHARLES WOODSON: You're so generous.

MATT LEINART: How about this: They were out a couple weeks ago, Kyle Trask and Kyle Pitts. Their defense hasn't shown up -- Charles, I talked about this a couple weeks ago -- they were waiting outside the club for their defense to show up; they never showed up, so they got kicked out of the club. They're back today. Let's see if they get back in.

REGGIE BUSH: The Kyles always trying to get back in the club. Let's recap a little bit. Because we do have our VIPs at the top -- Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones, Justin Fields -- and then some of the newcomers -- Spencer Rattler, Zach Wilson and I love that you added a running back, Travis Etienne. And of course, I gotta remember my guy, Najee Harris. Running backs don't get enough love. We don't get enough love. All right, Brady, over to you.

BRADY QUINN: I thought I'd get more hype for Reggie for the Win with Quinn segment. But it's been a tough couple of weeks, 2-4 over the past couple of weeks. We think maybe it was because Rob Stone was a part of that.

He was the most -- we kick him out of here, we kick him out of Club Heisman, kick him out of Win with Quinn, and we bring in Bruce the Brain Feldman to help bring in some good luck for this, are you ready?

BRUCE FELDMAN: I'm ready. I'm off the glazer perch. I'm in. I'm here. Let's go.

BRADY QUINN: Let's start with the Big Ten. We've got a match between Iowa and Northwestern. Look, I understand Northwestern put up a lot of points last week, but it was versus Maryland. We saw Maryland do that versus Minnesota, or Minnesota do that versus Maryland. Clearly Maryland can't play good defense right now.

If you go back to these two teams over the years, between their matchup, they average a total of about under 30 points per game. So I love the under of 45 points between these two teams in this one.

BRUCE FELDMAN: We'll start off on a bad foot here. I disagree -- did you not listen to what Matt Leinart said at the beginning of the show. Different offense here, Peyton Ramsey -- big addition, Mike Bajakian new offensive coordinator at Northwestern. Also, the defense of the Hawkeyes, really depleted in the middle. Going up?

BRADY QUINN: It might be going up. But there was a big rushing attack from Northwestern. I don't think Iowa will just let them run the football. Still like the under of 45.

Let's go to UCF and Houston. This is the highest over-under of the season at 80 1/2 points. Look, this is going to be a high-scoring affair. But if you go back to last year between these two teams, 73 total points. There's over 30 returning players from both sides. So it's pretty much the same teams, pretty much the same staff going on. And that Houston defense is very improved.

BRUCE FELDMAN: I agree with you here. I talked to the Cougar staff last night. They feel like year 2 for these guys in a 4-2-5 system, they have a lot more confidence and are a lot more comfortable. I think they can keep the explosive UCF offense buttoned up a little bit today.

BRADY QUINN: They're allowing a hundred less yards per game, the Houston defense. Still high-scoring, just under that number slightly.

The Big 12, big-time matchup, Texas going to Stillwater, taking on Oklahoma State. I like Texas in this one. I'll go ahead and take the 3 1/2 points. I love the fact you get a little bit of a hook here. I think if you go back and look at where Oklahoma State struggled last week versus Iowa State, it plays right into the wheelhouse what Texas does well -- quarterback run game, Brock Purdy, and Breece Hall.

That's Sam Ehlinger, that's Keaontay Ingram. I think they'll have a big game. I don't think they just cover the number; I think they win outright.

BRUCE FELDMAN: Pump the brakes, Brady. Jumping back on the Tom Herman bandwagon. I like that. I like your pick. I won't go in all on Texas. I think Texas' run defense has been gashed too much. And we know about Chuba and Spencer Sanders' wheels. I think it's going to be close, but I'll go with Oklahoma State to win. But I like your betting move.

BRADY QUINN: At least they cover. At least they cover. Let's review now.

We've got a slugfest in the Big Ten. Love the under of 45 points in that one. High scoring affair between UCF and Houston. However, again, just under that mark of 80 1/2. And then finally not only just Texas covering here. In my opinion a big upset. Tom Herman, against the spread, he's 7-11 when it's three points or higher. He's been really good. Rob, over to you.

ROB STONE: And as always, play responsibly.

Brady, there's a guy who has been in this studio lately who has been on fire with his baseball picks. He noticed your recent trend/slump -- thanks for blaming it on me -- and he wanted to make sure he passed along some advice to you.

DAVID ORTIZ: Brady Quinn, I'm the real Papi. This is the real pick right here. Come and get some. (Laughter) you don't want it. I'm always right.

BRADY QUINN: What? What is it? Where can I find that? Papi, I need some help. We may need to bring you in if it doesn't work out with Bruce Feldman this week.

BRUCE FELDMAN: We have to keep going. Papi is on vacation.

BRADY QUINN: We'll see him next year, until May.

ROB STONE: Matty and Reg, next week your Pac-12 returns to the field. Are your Trojans the favorite? Maybe Oregon? Maybe somebody else. The guys will chime in coming up next.

Purdue on the road at Illinois today. The Boilermakers, guys, seeking their first 2-0 start since 2007. Luke Fickell, Coach, has got the Cincinnati Bearcats at 4-0 and up to No. 7.

URBAN MEYER: Yeah, they used to be known as the BCS buster back in the old days. Now it's the college football buster. Can they keep the dream alive?

ROB STONE: Clemson, again, no Trevor Lawrence, so say it with us. Who is starting at quarterback, Brady?

BRADY QUINN: D.J. Uiagalelei.

ROB STONE: Say it again.

BRADY QUINN: Uiagalelei.

ROB STONE: Get used to it, folks. Maybe not this year, maybe next year.

[COMMERCIAL]

ROB STONE: Noon Eastern on FS1, Les Miles, looks for his fourth win in charge of the Jayhawks. Host No. 23 Iowa State. Here we are halfway through the season, guys. Here's the best at the halfway point from team Big Noon Kickoff. Thrilled you're with us for year two of Big Noon Kickoff. We're doing this weekly unless things go really badly.

>> We did not take out the insurance policy.

>> I know if I make big plays I'm coming to the sideline putting on that jersey.

>> I need a quarterback like a Matt Leinart and I need an all-purpose guy like Reggie Bush.

>> Pretty boy Matt Leinart and playboy Brady Quinn.

>> We've got something over here you sent to us coach. Matt's going to put the helmet on.

>> I've got a big head. I can't fit it on my head.

>> When you're old like us you like getting up early. It's the players you have to get fit.

>> It's Stetson Bennett.

MATT LEINART: Remember when you're standing in line, wait you never stood in line.

BRADY QUINN: Rowing the boat, baby, let's go.

REGGIE BUSH: Something about never losing, you know what I mean? (Laughter).

>> Urban says you're getting gray.

>> He put a few of these gray hairs on me.

BRADY QUINN: Oh wow! Oh wow. Oh no. Gosh dang it.

REGGIE BUSH: 4:30 in the morning.

BRADY QUINN: What are you so tired about?

MATT LEINART: I didn't fall asleep. (Laughter).

ROB STONE: Long day today.

REGGIE BUSH: Too much fun.

MATT LEINART: Something tells me there's going to be some graphics going on today.

ROB STONE: No graphics. Props. Props. Like right now.

CHARLES WOODSON: Two large cup of Joes for these guys that can't seem to stay up. (Laughter).

Reg, I saw that video of you up here struggling.

REGGIE BUSH: Listen. You know what I did --

CHARLES WOODSON: What have you got, stir it up. Keep your eyes open.

BRADY QUINN: Be careful don't drink too much.

URBAN MEYER: We fixed it, gave them curfews on Friday night. Now they're fine.

CHARLES WOODSON: Bed check.

REGGIE BUSH: 4.00 a.m. wake up is a beast.

CHARLES WOODSON: We don't want to hear nothing about it.

ROB STONE: There's going to be some bed check and wake up calls next week, outside The Coliseum moments protection brought to you by Allstate, get better protected with Allstate. You've never been in better hands. Yes, the Pac-12 is going to be protecting the big noon window on Fox next week.

We'll be on location at The Coliseum for that one, 10.00 a.m. eastern followed by Arizona State and USC both trying to protect bragging rights in the Pac-12 south. That one kicks off at noon eastern, 9.00 a.m. pacific. Remember the Pac-12 they discussed potential big noon game last year. Now with the extra lay off time away from the spotlight, Coach. This feels like a really sage, savvy move early on by Pac-12.

URBAN MEYER: Bold move right move to do, two-thirds of the country doesn't talk about the Pac-12 long forgotten Pete Carroll, Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart when everybody talked about the Pac-12 they have to do it. When I was at Utah, went there, we took every Thursday and Friday game. Why? We didn't necessarily love doing it, because you had short work weeks and all that. We had the country had to see us.

We made that decision, we played well. Now the Pac-12, here's what they have to play well because the whole country now will be watching USC Arizona State next week.

MATT LEINART: I think for me it's about USC can they take the next step what I mean by that can they win Pac-12 championship guys and potentially put themselves in a conversation for a playoff spot. They've won one Pac-12 title in the last 11 years. They've lost three games under Clay Helton every year he's been the head football coach. But this 2020 football team loaded on offense with All-American candidates Kedon Slovis, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and experienced offensive line back. Defensively, 89 starters are back. 12 of their top 13 tacklers. Loaded on both sides of the football. There's no excuses. Can they take the next step? And they've got a big one. Maybe the most important game in the season against Arizona State next week.

BRADY QUINN: Kind of worries me for them starting off with that sort of game, never know how will the opening game go, curious for a few things, do they make it through the schedule, we see what's happening with Wisconsin and the Big Ten right now, they're stacked up. Really with no room for error, playing a less amount of games. How is that going to play into the national picture, even if you do have an undefeated Pac-12 champion. Who I think that could be is Oregon. I think when you look at what Mario Cristobal has done the past couple of years recruiting number one in the Pac-12 the past two years, what they have coming back on defense with maybe the best edge rusher in the country and K'Von Thibodaux and on offense, Tyler Shough is expected to be the starter, two returning receivers. The thing I'm most excited about is Joe Moorhead, their offensive coordinator, first season there. He was head coach at NC State Penn State. I think he's going to allow the team to score a bunch of points. I know they don't return a bunch of experience. They have some talent. Look out for Oregon Pac-12 north.

REGGIE BUSH: Oregon is definitely going to be that team that the rest of the Pac-12 will have to try to beat because they were dominant last year. But for me I think the most interesting part for the Pac-12 is how do they compete for a playoff spot with only six games. I think no room for error is an understatement like you actually have to beat every team by 20 or more points and that's still may not be enough to get you into a playoff spot because, Coach, like you said, there's not a lot of respect for the Pac-12 right now. And so I love the fact that USC and Arizona State is going to play this early game because that's going to give them that national attention that you spoke about.

BRADY QUINN: You could be doing everything right too with the way the Pac-12 Big Ten schedules are. It could be it's the team you're facing that ends up losing against you with a COVID outbreak on their team. That's the world we're living right now in 2020.

ROB STONE: Talking about an opportunity. It's a conversation for the Pac-12 with the Big 12 struggling early an extra playoff spot sitting out there teasing the Pac-12.

URBAN MEYER: You have to perform. At the end of the day when we watch that game next week, you're going to be like what is this, or that's legit, one of those two teams.

ROB STONE: We'll see it up close and personal live from the Coliseum, USC-Arizona State. Charles Woodson joins us next. We'll travel through revisit some of the greatest moments in the Michigan State-Michigan rivalry. Charles may make an appearance in it. Buckeyes in Happy Valley today. There they are at the hotel. Good morning. They're up and at 'em. It's a night game. Probably just celebrating there's no white-out, right? It's the most anticipated Big Ten matchup outside of Ohio State and Michigan, Buckeyes and Nittany Lions 7:30 eastern.

URBAN MEYER: What became an every other year tradition was that darn white-out. Huge advantage.

ROB STONE: Can Memphis make it six straight over Cincinnati Tigers, 15-3 since the start of 2019.

Great quarterback in Brady White, scored 91 points in the last two weeks. Remember Cincinnati, tough win last week against SMU.

[COMMERCIAL]

ROB STONE: We're going to revisit some of the magical moments in today's battle for Paul Bunyan. Charles, when I say, whoa, he has trouble with the snap.

CHARLES WOODSON: I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that. Come on, man. Don't start me off like that.

ROB STONE: It's coming our top five rivalry moments start your junior year '97, the one-handed pick, my friend.

CHARLES WOODSON: You know what he threw a shot at the moon he didn't know I could leap to the stars. I went up and got that baby. And I got another one. (Laughter) and another.

ROB STONE: All right. You're not going to like this one as much. 2001, clockgate, Spartans hurrying to the line spike it. Just smoker, did he get it --

CHARLES WOODSON: Wait a minute. I need to ask Coach Meyer, can you spike it with one second on the clock?

URBAN MEYER: Absolutely not.

ROB STONE: Slow clock, smoker, T.J. Duckett game winner, 26-24. How about the thriller in 2005, Wolverines down 17 in the fourth. Braylon Edwards ignites the comeback.

CHARLES WOODSON: Down 17 in the fourth?

ROB STONE: Had 189 receiving scores three scores including the game winner in OT.

CHARLES WOODSON: Know what they call that? Putting the team on your back. Be easy, baby, going up to get 'em.

ROB STONE: 2007, called the little brother, gave some bad blood. Another late comeback by Michigan. Turned out to be their sixth straight win over their rivals, Mike Hart with this memorable postgame quote.

MIKE HART: Sometimes get your little brother excited when you're playing basketball and stuff, let him take the lead. Then you just come back and take it back.

ROB STONE: The laugh is cold.

CHARLES WOODSON: The chuckle.

ROB STONE: Here it is my friend.

CHARLES WOODSON: Oh, come on, just take a knee.

ROB STONE: 2015.

CHARLES WOODSON: I'm on the plane. My Wi-Fi is on, getting ready to tweet out we beat Michigan State. The Wi-Fi is out. We land. I look on my Twitter, guess what I see? These guys holding up the Bunyan trophy.

ROB STONE: Good thing you didn't hit send.

CHARLES WOODSON: Good thing I didn't hit send.

ROB STONE: Game rivalry for Michigan or Michigan State?

CHARLES WOODSON: More for them. Mike Hart said it best, little brother, big brother. We giveth we taketh away. (Laughter).

ROB STONE: You hear that over there. Charles Woodson from Michigan, everybody.

CHARLES WOODSON: We give it we take it away. That's the way it is.

ROB STONE: Special edition of quarterback and fourth. Matt and Brady in the Wendy's pub area celebrating the all new Wendy's bacon pub cheeseburger. Guys ready for some old-fashioned pub talk?

MATT LEINART: I was going to say how about the new digs?

BRADY QUINN: This is where I feel comfortable, comfortable in the pub.

MATT LEINART: Throw a couple back. We've got quarterback on fourth. Three topics Brady. First topic. This decade, who's had better wide receivers, Alabama or Clemson?

BRADY QUINN: Oh no.

MATT LEINART: That's a good one.

BRADY QUINN: This is a good one. I'm going to go with quantity over maybe quality even though they both have had a lot of first round picks. Clemson has had three. I'll give Clemson the slight edge when you think about Mike Williams, Sammy Watkins, Deondrae Hawkins, a beast his entire career. Even other guys, Hunter Renfrow, Tee Higgins, the way he's gotten off to a good start with Joe Burrow. Slight edge to Clemson.

MATT LEINART: I'm going to give a slight edge to Alabama. How about Julio Jones, one of the best to ever do it. You've got Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley balling in the NFL this year. And two future first round picks on the team we know Waddle out with an injury first-rounder and DeVonta Smith. But my favorite player of all these guys you mentioned him is D Hop. Hopkins.

BRADY QUINN: The best. Top ten alert today.

MATT LEINART: Couple. Go with Cincinnati plays Memphis. Memphis is 5-0 against them since 2014. 2-0 last year. 91 points scored last two games. Brady White that offense. And Cincinnati coming off a great win against SMU, gotta do it again. Cincinnati on upset alert today.

BRADY QUINN: I have Florida, not played in two weeks. Mizzou, momentum building up. Florida needs to look out, not sure how much they've been able to practice.

MATT LEINART: We heard about the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry we played against them either of those teams what's your favorite moment against Michigan or Michigan State?

BRADY QUINN: I've got two, 2005 Michigan ranked and go in the big house. Before the game someone flooded the toilet. We couldn't be in the locker room most entire time out on the field before the game, we ended up winning pulled off the offset. Never heard 107,000 quieter. 2006 we were down 16 first quarter against Michigan State, rain, wind, everything made the come back ended up winning the game exciting too.

MATT LEINART: My favorite moment, '04 Rose Bowl against Michigan. I caught a touchdown pass. Maybe that's why you have a football. I was going. I was going I ran my wheel route I'm going. Oh man.

CHARLES WOODSON: Matt Leinart.

BRADY QUINN: You played receiver too. That's not an interception.

CHARLES WOODSON: You thought you were going to catch two against Michigan. (Laughter) you know better than that.

ROB STONE: Stirring the pot out here. Wide receiver Jackson Georgia at Kentucky. Bulldogs won ten straight meetings against the Wildcats. Texas's Sam Ehlinger paces FBS 24 touchdowns, getting at least three in every game this season. His success stoked by decades of Longhorn tradition.

>> With all the great tradition here at the University of Texas it motivates me to be great seeing the pictures of all the Longhorn legends, it motivates me to continue to work hard and be better than I was the day before.

ROB STONE: Coach, break down the form of Charles Woodson in the secondary.

URBAN MEYER: All I can say is athlete.

BRADY QUINN: That's a completion.

URBAN MEYER: I thought he was playing wide receiver.

REGGIE BUSH: Too easy over there.

ROB STONE: Too much loft.

MATT LEINART: He had to lead me, he was behind me.

ROB STONE: The second part of our college football triple header today on Fox, big one from the Big 12. Unbeaten and sixth ranked Oklahoma State, host Sam Ehlinger and Texas live coverage of that one four eastern.

Austin native Sam Ehlinger came out of the womb flashing the hook 'em sign dream up representing the University of Texas through all the ups and downs the senior quarterback has never lost sight of what it means to be a Longhorn.

>> Quarterback Sam Ehlinger from here in Austin born and bred to be a Longhorn.

>> Putting on the Longhorn uniform for the first time was like a dream come true. I've been idolizing the Longhorns for so long and finally to get that opportunity it was truly special.

>> The University of Texas Longhorns take the field.

>> Standing in the tunnel and getting to run out of the fog and run out on the field and hear the cheers of the fans, it was something that I'll never forget. The moment that I realized that I could play at this level was the two minute drive against USC my freshman year. We drove down the field, put it in the end zone.

>> Ehlinger flushed out. Throws. Touchdown, Texas. The freshman Ehlinger.

>> I did understand and have confidence from then on if I continued to develop and get better I could compete at this level. Preparation has been the biggest thing understanding how to prepare for a game and then my understanding of the game as well. Understanding coverages and defenses.

>> This is a local kid that desperately wants to bring Texas back to the prominent stage in college football.

>> With all the great tradition here it motivates me to be great. Walking around in the facility and seeing the pictures of all the Longhorn legends. It motivates me to continue to work hard and be better than I was the day before.

ROB STONE: Ehlinger and Texas, already though with two Big 12 losses ditto for rival Oklahoma. Longhorns opponent today Oklahoma State unbeaten behind Kansas State for first place in the conference. Some folks like to measure teams by wins and championships, Coach, by draft picks. But when you're evaluating Oklahoma State there's only one device endorsed by the big noon crew it is The Gundy Mullet Meter.

So Reggie, on a scale of one to five, one being the buzz cut, five being business in the front party in the back (laughter).

URBAN MEYER: I've got one question how do these coaches there's no gray hair on their heads when I see these people. How does that happen.

MATT LEINART: A lot of color.

ROB STONE: How confident are you on the mullet meter that the Cowboys are Big 12 title worthy?

BRADY QUINN: Party in the back.

REGGIE BUSH: First of all I love the party in the back, that's fire. I'm going five. I'm a five right now because, one, they have weapons. They've got Tylan Wallace, Chuba Hubbard, Spencer Sanders and put Ellingworth in that conversation as well because he gives them depth at the most important position. But this is how Oklahoma State started off the game against Iowa State.

Getting the ball to their best players and one thing I think about when I watch Chuba Hubbard run I think about patience. That's one word that comes to mind patience in his body language, patience in his tempo, which allows him to find the creases and then once he finds the crease he's not getting caught from behind.

Then the play-action feeds off of Chuba Hubbard, feeds off of what the linebackers have to respect. Now, I know this play was a year ago, but I love Tyler Wallace and to me this is one of the best plays I've seen from a receiver in college football history, running over a couple of guys, stiff arming two guys to the end zone. When you have weapons like that from Oklahoma State and you get that kind of production, that kind of play, who is going to stop them in the Big 12, Coach, who will stop them.

MATT LEINART: I've seen that play 68 times. I love it.

REGGIE BUSH: That's a grown man play right there.

MATT LEINART: I'll go with the mullet meter I'll give it strong four.

URBAN MEYER: Still parting in the back.

MATT LEINART: But I'm not fully in the party yet. I'll give it a four it's not because of the explosive offense it's because of the dominant defense in particular guys on third down, they're getting off the field. What they do on third down, they show a lot of different looks. Brady we've seen that a million times the NFL the walk around looks that ends up being a free rusher, Brock Purdy has nowhere to go. Check out the safeties look at how aggressive, the walk around up front, again, short of the sticks. They get off the field on third down. Down in the red zone. Just a four-man rush, put pressure on Purdy has to throw the football away here again the walk around. Makes it really difficult for the offensive line for the running back and quarterback to have to ID those fronts. Brock Purdy had nowhere to go with the football. It's feast or famine, play tight, one-on-one on the side, give up some plays but I'll tell you they do a great job getting off the field because of all the different looks you see.

URBAN MEYER: I give it a three. I am not sure I can even say the words mullet meter, not sure what the words mean moving on heard about he top 10 defense watched three games on them they play defense out of a 3-3 not seen that since early 2000s that was the defensive, that generation. That era. So it's a 3-3 defense what does it mean for quarterback and center very hard to ID. Sometimes there's two D line men on one side one on the other hard to ID. Great players great defense average offense they faced is 64th so pump the brakes a little bit. After today Saturday night that might be four. That might be even a five because they're facing a legit offense today.

BRADY QUINN: Call me business up front then. I'm at a one. Bottom line they're combined opponents 8-10 record they haven't faced a top 40 scoring offense yet this season you talked about aggressiveness on defense I think that could get exposed versus Sam Ehlinger playmakers rushing outside.

ROB STONE: Hold on Reggie has gone full Mike Gundy. Own it, Reg. Own it, Reg.

REGGIE BUSH: Wait a minute. Where did this thing come from? I need some spray. Bottle right here.

ROB STONE: Reggie look at the camera you're a handsome man with that mullet.
