XAVIER GUILLROY: Yeah. Of course, I wish that for him. Skatt's earned everything that he's ever gotten. He's been doubted at every single level. He's even going to get doubted with going to the NFL. Like it's just how his career has been. But he's a fighter. He's been dealing it. He proves people wrong time and time again, and he doesn't get tired. I feel like, me personally, I feel like that that fuels him to get to where he's at and stuff.
So I love when people do some injustice to Skatt because that's fuel for the next game. But as a friend, not just as a teammate, I wish that for him, but he's going to have a great career and he's already had such a great career. So he's been blessed more than 99.9 percent of the football players playing college football have. So I hope he's just counting his blessings and stuff because he's had a very blessed career, and I don't want him to focus on things that didn't happen.
But he's going to have a long career after this, too. So I'm excited for him and to see where he can bring himself, the heights that he can, and I'm excited for him and his family.
Q. How do you describe his running style?
XAVIER GUILLROY: I know all the fans and stuff just want to say bruiser. Obviously that's the first thing that you see, but people don't see the athleticism it takes. I know a lot of big backs that just like to hit and stuff. They don't last long. They don't have the career yards that he does. He's I'm not going to say sneaky athletic, but he's agile. If you see a lot of his runs, when he takes that first initial hit, he's able to get his hand down and literally do like a break dance move on the ground, keep his balance and keep going. And then he's lost some weight this year. He has a quicker burst. And he can make people miss in the open field, too. He's not just looking to truck. He just does that just because he wants to and has fun doing that.
He's elusive, and obviously he can catch the ball. He has great hands, and he's more than just a bruising back. His still is just highlight tape style. Like he's going to put on a show for you. He's going to give the fans their money's worth when they come and watch him and stuff. I have fun watching him. I feel like I have the best tickets in the stadium when I'm out there blocking for him. He's awesome and fun to play with. He has a bunch of different ways to attack you and all that.
Q. Have you seen him being asked questions about the Texas defense. And obviously (indiscernible) he's like we'll see. We'll see. Have you seen him get through a little bit more by the Texas defense?
XAVIER GUILLROY: You don't know how to like -- what Skatt's easy to coach because you don't have to do too much with him to get him motivated. He's already such a motivated individual. I don't even really know what goes on in his head. It's just like when we get between those lines and that clock starts rolling, he just turns into Skatt. Off the field he's Cam but he turns into Skatt quick when he gets on that field.
Yeah, we hear all the number one defensive line and a lot of stuff, and obviously we're taking that very seriously because they're a very formidable opponent, but Skatt you kind of just let him roll. He's one of those players you don't try to do much with, you kind of just, all right, go do what you do. You'll see it on Wednesday. You're going to see exactly what he's thinking on Wednesday.
