Q. Immediately after how that ended, what's in your head?
NICK DUNLAP: Yeah, I battled back and kind of gave away some at the end there. But fun day, and I kind of was uncomfortable early and hit a couple good shots on the back.
Q. Your first tee shot, you hit that ball so fast at the tee. Were you feeling nervous about being on the first tee? What was the lead-up to your round like for you mentally speaking?
NICK DUNLAP: I mean, yeah, I'm 20 and I'm teeing off with Jon Rahm at Augusta on the first tee. I was pretty nervous. I just hit a bad one, hit somebody in the side of the head, and it wasn't great from there on in.
Q. What was it like playing with two major champions?
NICK DUNLAP: Pretty cool. I learned a lot from just watching how they played and dissecting some of the holes, and when they were in trouble how they got out of it. It's something I can definitely improve on.
Q. Is that kind of what you want to get out of this more than anything is just playing with Scottie, with Rahm, with all these guys, just learning from them?
NICK DUNLAP: Yeah, absolutely. I've definitely got to get a little bit better, but playing with them definitely helps.
Q. Talk about finally getting back on the back nine, birdieing 10, some of those shots that you had. What clicked for you or helped you feel more comfortable in that moment to battle back on the back?
NICK DUNLAP: Yeah, birdied 10 and 11 were two really good birdies, and then I thought I hit a better chip than I did on 13. Honestly, I played well except the last two holes.
