Q. Right there in the thick of it still, how are you feeling coming off of this one?
LUCAS GLOVER: Tired again. It's difficult out there. Greens are firm and super fast, and the hole locations are difficult, and all the things we knew coming into today.
Q. A completely different challenge than yesterday. With the wind you were battling, though, just making those adjustments, how did you feel you guys did as a pair out there?
LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, we both struggled in spots. Kurt had some unfortunate things happen there 15 and 18.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
LUCAS GLOVER: That's okay.
No, Tom's one of the best and I'm lucky to have him. He was dialed in all day with the wind.
I hit some good shots that turned out bad and some bad shots that turned out okay. Kind of what you'd expect on a gusty day.
You'd almost rather have it just constant out of the same direction than kind of picking around a little bit.
Yeah, I feel like I left a couple shots out there, but not too bad at even par.
Q. I was just wondering if there was any one shot (indiscernible.)
LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, actually 17 tee. They had the pins way up for the front pin, and driver could get you too close with the help, and even me, I don't hit it that far anymore.
I had this 3-wood and it got hit by the wind. It kind of switched into our face and left me way back, a lot further than we expected. Nature of the beast when it's gusty.
Still I hit the green, I just didn't have a putt. Just on the wrong side of the hole. You can't get out of -- there's even places on the greens 20 feet where you can't get it close.
Q. Given how challenging it is, is it still fun to be here?
LUCAS GLOVER: 100 percent, yeah. If you don't enjoy the challenge, you're playing the wrong sport. The conditions make the day, right? Styles make fights, as they say. The style here is firm and fast, and when it's like that, it's a challenge.
It's hard to get your ball close. It's hard to chip it close. It's hard to putt it close sometimes. You know that coming in.
That's the way it should be. It's a major. Anybody complaining about the golf course or the conditions, we knew it was going to be like this.
Q. Your approach going in tomorrow where you are, is it an aggressive approach or knowing it's still Augusta?
LUCAS GLOVER: It's one of those places where you know the hole locations, you know where they're going to be. If you've got a good number or a good club, you can go at it. Otherwise, you've got to be real smart.
But focus this evening and in the morning, my speed needs to be a little better. My speed wasn't very good on the greens today. Going to work on that a little bit now and kind of come out early tomorrow and do it, and I've got to make more putts.
Q. I know we drilled the conditions thing, as in every year, but does today feel a little bit better than yesterday?
LUCAS GLOVER: Yeah, it's half as hard obviously. The gusts are half as bad. But still not easy compared to no wind or soft conditions.
But like I said, we knew that coming in, and we get what we get and go play and count them up when we finish.
