Jaguars 23, Dolphins 20
Q. The second longest field goal and you snap a 20-game losing streak; how does that feel?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: It feels awesome. Just happy they both went in. Happy I could help the team come out with a win.
Q. Have you kicked 54 yards or 53 yards in practice before?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, it's something we do pretty regularly, so I feel confident making those kind of kicks.
Q. What went through your head when your first field goal in the fourth quarter left your foot compared to what went through your head when the second field goal left your foot?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, so the first one I actually thought I missed it. I was about ready to walk off the field, and then I saw the O-linemen turn around and they were all happy, so that's when I realized it went in. But yeah, the second one felt a lot better, made a lot better contact. Just happy they both went in.
Q. National cameras caught Josh Lambo talking with you after the made kick. How supportive of you has he been during this process? I know you guys both made the flight over here and you're two of a kind.
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, he's actually been really helpful. There's no bad blood between either of us. We're both here to do the job, and we're just competing, and he's been really helpful actually with everything because he's had quite a long successful career, so he's had some wise words for me.
Q. When was the last time you were under that kind of pressure to go produce?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Last year with Pittsburgh I was in a couple playoff type games, so I'd like to think that those were kind of similar. Obviously a game winner is a different level, but just got to fall back on what I know and just do my job.
Q. What was going through your head when the ball was headed for the end zone?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: I have no idea.
Q. Talk about the crowd as you were stepping up to kick and what was going through your head at that moment.
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, so throughout the game I like to try and kick into my net as the crowd is loud, just so I can kind of get that feeling so that way when I go out there for the real thing, it's just what I'm used to.
Q. Overall what about the London experience? It's a long trip to get here.
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, it was awesome. We only got to go see the city for a couple hours yesterday, but it's such a beautiful city, and hopefully I can come back sometimes and check it out some more.
Q. What did you make of the Tottenham stadium?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: It was awesome. I grew up watching soccer, I grew up playing soccer, play FIFA all the time, so it was awesome to get to do that in a stadium that I've kind of grown up in.
Q. Coach said he asked you to speak up in the locker room and people hadn't heard you speak. What was that like and what did you say and what were people saying to you?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: I kind of forget what I said. I'll have to go back and watch the tape. But yeah, just not a huge talker. Just here to do my job.
Q. Did you get the game ball?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Yeah, I got one.
Q. What did Trevor say to you afterwards in the locker room?
MATTHEW WRIGHT: Just, good job, congrats. Basic stuff.
