Jaguars 25, Bills 20

STEFON DIGGS: Yeah, slow start. Trying to get clicking, trying to figure it out. You know how it is in certain games. Can't attribute to anything other than execution on the offensive side of the ball. Pretty much execution.

Q. Josh used the terms "tempo" and "urgency" early in the game. Didn't really have a sense of it or whatever. I'm not putting those words in your mouth.

STEFON DIGGS: That's okay.

Q. Did you feel that way?

STEFON DIGGS: A hundred percent. On the sideline, I went on the field and I was just echoing sense of urgency, get out of the huddle. Let's have that mindset. We have it in practice, and we try to build off of it and in the game it's supposed to be easier. You work hard in practice and the carryover is supposed to be, all right, you go have fun now. I felt like we did -- I'm not going to say lackadaisical, but we were kind of like just not as, you know, let's go get it; let's get after it, you know what I'm saying. We were trying to figure it out. But that lack of sense of urgency, it showed, and then we get in that mode of not necessarily rushing, but more so like okay we got a score, you saw that.

So definitely something to learn from, and a lot of things to learn from from this.

Q. Is there anything that stands out to you about why that was? Why that sense of urgency wasn't there early?

STEFON DIGGS: You know, I can't put words in anybody's mouth or anything. Just as a unit, we echo it. You know, that's the standard. We didn't play up to the standard, but I will say it's a lot of things we can learn from from this and we'll grow from it.

Q. One follow to that. A lot of people questioned about the travel, you guys got in here Friday or whatever, and Sean said that he'll evaluate everything moving forward if and when you come back over here again. Did that impact anything in your opinion?

STEFON DIGGS: I don't know. Like, it's easy to say that after the game. Like, if we won, what we would have said, yeah, we were tired or yeah, we were this or, yeah, they were that.

It's easy to use an excuse. I'm not a big excuse guy. I won't say it. You're going to have to ask the other guys.

Tired or not, whatever, you can get up to play a football game, you know what I'm saying. You can get up to do the things that you love and play this game, you know, because it's a blessing.

Also, prayers for the guys who got hurt. But I will never use the excuse -- you can obviously look at the data or whatever, but I ain't really trying to hear that s***. I felt like we can play better and we must.

Q. The injury, was it like for you guys as a team, seeing so many guys go down?

STEFON DIGGS: Team-wise, we don't think about it offense or defense or special teams. We all still one unit. It's tough to see guys get hurt.

But flipside, I try to, you know, think about it. We do have depth and we do have a lot of guys that can play football at a very high level. So when you go into that deep -- the depth that we do have, the defense that we do have, guys need to play well and step up, and it is still the standard.

Q. This morning north London was awash with blue jerseys. How amazing was the Bills Mafia today at the stadium?

STEFON DIGGS: One more time. My bad.

Q. North London was putting up blue jerseys of the Bills Mafia. How amazing were they? That atmosphere was probably one of the most electric I've ever been apart of.

STEFON DIGGS: I gotcha that time. The Bill Mafia travels well. We trying to expand this thing and get some fans over here. Everybody traveled well and everybody that showed up, they made a lot of noise and it felt like it was still kind of a home game. It's not like home-home but it's the second home.

So it was definitely still fun. Still a good atmosphere. I look forward to coming over here again and hopefully week have a different result.

Q. There was a moment between the third quarter and fourth quarter where you went out to talk to the defense about?

STEFON DIGGS: Nothing. I don't play defense. I just be on some positive energy. Let's go, trying to be there for my guys just because offense, you kind of get lost, you kind of lose sight of everything that's going on on defense. You might watch them on the board a little bit. But you're not that attentive.

So for me, I try to be there for my guys, give them some positive energy, a boost. You never know, a couple extra claps, a couple extra yells, anything can happen.

Q. You got one and they got the other, what did you see on those two plays?

STEFON DIGGS: My quarterback just give me a chance, especially I try to talk about the positives. Second one he made a good play, you know what I'm saying. Like I try not to say anything other than he made a good play; give him his respect, hell of a play. We going to keep building off one. We hit one, we didn't, we miss one, but more so on me. I look at 50/50 balls like they are mine or nobody. I put it more on my shoulders than anything.

Keep betting on Josh. Josh going to give me a chance and we keep building off it. We've had some success throughout the season, and we trying to grow from it and kind of look at it as a positive.

Q. From a league-wise standpoint and player preference, the turf out there today, what did you think?

STEFON DIGGS: Oh, s*** -- sorry. It was aaight. That's all I'm going to say.

Q. They also have a grass field. Would you prefer that?

STEFON DIGGS: You know, I live in the space of preference, it doesn't matter, you know what I'm saying, so whatever they give us to play on I'm going to play on, you know what I'm saying. Try not to speak too much about inevitables.

Q. You alluded to the atmosphere. Do you have a message for the British fans that came out to see you?

STEFON DIGGS: Keep coming out. Buy more red, white and blue. Saw a little bit of other jerseys, but I appreciate y'all coming a lot of support. Football is fun. Get into it a little bit. Appreciate y'all.
