Q. Textbook interception?
JOSEY JEWELL: Textbook, sure. Whatever you want to say on that one. Yeah, kind of fell into my lap there. So good to have one -- I almost had one, about two plays before, I probably should have had another.
Q. Take us through the interception. Do you practice it like that?
JOSEY JEWELL: Yeah, I don't know. That one, it's just a random one honestly. But I'll take any that I can get.
Q. A'Shawn said a second ago it's taken this defense a little to learn itself. As you guys have gone through the course of this season, what are you starting to figure out about this particular group?
JOSEY JEWELL: Yeah, it's been how to play off each other, whether that be the run gaps, whether somebody is going to take a backdoor or go front side on the D-Line or how we are going to fit it in the back line.
I think he said it perfectly. We are learning each other and we are yelling and every week is getting better. We just can't have those lapses. We have to trust each other and keep up the communication as the weeks go along, and we get better as the weeks go along, too.
Q. He said he so the of called his shot on that last play. Said he wanted to close it out himself. Did he say anything in particular in the huddle?
JOSEY JEWELL: He's lying -- no, I would not believe him.
No, I'm totally joking.
I don't know if he said anything in the huddle. Usually I'm the one talking. I don't know if he said anything in there. We'll have to go back. Hopefully somebody is mic'ced up.
Q. Why were they coming tonight --
JOSEY JEWELL: We are pretty conscious throughout the week of, you know, Wednesday and Thursdays, trying to get those turnovers, whether it be punching at the ball or being visual on the quarterback, understanding our drops and how to get in those windows and stuff like that.
So coach E. has done a great job of forcing that issue and forcing us to think about it as the day goes along. First of all, we need to be able to tackle and then the turnovers come after that. One step at a time. Don't think about the ball too much but we've done a pretty good job these last couple weeks of increasing that.
Q. When you make plays like you did today, the reaction from the crowd, does that give the sideline a lot of juice? Are you raring to get back out there again?
JOSEY JEWELL: For sure, yeah. Definitely. The fans out here have been amazing. A lot of energy, that's for sure. I enjoy whenever we come out to London or when we came here to Germany, it's been awesome. The fans are crazy, which is always good. Loud for us.
Like I heard Bryce saying, they were quiet on some of thinks third downs and they were definitely making some noise when we were on the field in third down. It within a great experience.
Q. What was it like -- coming back out there tonight?
JOSEY JEWELL: Great energy, a great player. We've been excited about him coming back. Worked with him when I had my little hamstring issue three or four weeks ago. A lot of work that guy has put in. A tough situation coming back from that injury.
We're very grateful to have him out there, creates a lot of juice, and he can get after tackles and get after the quarterback pretty good.
