Vikings - 21, Browns - 17
Q. Myles, can you talk about the way that the game ended? Just how frustrating was it for you guys not to be able to finish it off there at the end?
MYLES GARRETT: Just gotta close it out. I mean, frustration doesn't matter. The result does. We've got to be better.
Q. What did they do on offense, not a lot of offensive (indiscernible) to still be successful against you guys today?
MYLES GARRETT: I mean, they had a good chip plan. Especially in the second half they were chipping on both sides, so it made it difficult to get there.
It takes a lot to battle through too, and they made sure, at least tried to make sure to get the ball out quickly. And Carson, athletic, mobile, and he has an arm. Shout-out to him as well. The offensive line held up.
Q. Can you talk about the way Carson came through, left the game with a shoulder injury, came back in the third quarter and kind of played lights out in the second half? Can you just talk about how he did?
MYLES GARRETT: I mean, he did well enough to win.
Q. What did you see from Dillon Gabriel in his first start, how he held himself and was able to run the team and keep you guys in it until the very end?
MYLES GARRETT: I mean, like he usually does, composed and making the plays that we know he can make. And he put us in position to win. We've got to help ourselves out.
Q. You guys came up with two takeaways. You won the turnover battle. Is it even more disappointing to be able to go out there, get the three sacks, get the takeaways and then not get the shutdown?
MYLES GARRETT: We don't think about it like that. We don't think about it like if you get sacks or you get takeaways. At the end of the day you've got to go out and get the win. That's holding them to less points than you've got, and that's not guaranteed with sacks. It's not guaranteed with takeaways or anything else. You've got to show up when you need it. That's all of us.
Q. Was there a point when it was the confidence that you would win the game, because it looked for a long time that you would win? But the last couple of minutes, it wasn't still up until the end that you can turn it around?
MYLES GARRETT: There's never going to be a time where you don't feel like you can win as a professional athlete. You go out there expecting to win until the clock reaches zero.
Q. Was there anytime on the field where you felt the impact on the travel and the schedule from this week?
MYLES GARRETT: Probably about halftime. Felt a little tired. But, I mean, that's what they're feeling as well. It's part of the international games and something that some of us are new to. You've just got to be able to take care of your body and be prepared.
I don't think it's anything out of the ordinary. And I think we all responded well in the second half. We've just got to execute a little bit better.
Q. Did the quarterback change bring juice to the (indiscernible)?
MYLES GARRETT: I think so. Just something different, a different flavor. Appreciate Joe for having his back, supporting him, coaching him through this transition. He will be vital throughout this process regardless of whoever we end up with throughout the rest of the season. They've got to lean on each other.
Q. One in four (inaudible), you leave here with a level of confidence you guys can (inaudible)?
MYLES GARRETT: Always confident that you can bring it back. You don't look too far ahead or look behind you. You've got to just look at the next opponent and figure out how you can win that one.
