Q. Nine sacks today, how are you feeling?

NIK BONITTO: Feeling good, man. I love the way we was rushing today. Loved the way we was blitzing, how everybody is doing their part on the defense and making plays, and I'm happy we were able to do that.

Q. What's it like to have players like Patrick?

NIK BONITTO: Obviously Pat is the best in the game right now. What he did today was special. We ask to guard the best guy and we don't hear from him again throughout the game. It's a testament to him and it's a great honor just coming from him.

Q. (No microphone.)

NIK BONITTO: It's a long season. I have a lot of room to grow in my game and keep playing and stack wins. I have a long way to go before we start having those conversations.

Q. You lead with nine sacks right now.

NIK BONITTO: Looking out there, I know there was more players out there today. Whether, it was the run or the pass. So, I mean, just continuously trying to get better.

Q. The Jets had negative ten passing yards in the game. Have you ever been part of a defensive performance like that?

NIK BONITTO: No. I was shocked when they told us after the game. That's pretty funny.

Q. In Europe, what would you recommend to a young player if they want to make it into the NFL and how do you help the rookies on the team having good results like today?

NIK BONITTO: Kind of just keeping the main thing the main thing. If you have aspirations to make it in the NFL, there's so much that goes into it.

Obviously, first, is academics. You've got to have that good. The work ethic and being able to handle adversity. I feel like to watch your football career, you're going to have so many times you'll doubt yourself. Continuously trying to work, continuously trying to push yourself to be great every day is probably the main thing.

Q. What helped you the most in college?

NIK BONITTO: Yeah, I feel like I've always kind of had the same trajectory everywhere I've been, whether that was in high school, having to come in and wait my turn until I had to come in and be ready to play. Same thing in college. Red-shirted my freshman year. Had to wait my turn and be ready when my turn came to play. Same thing in the NFL.

May not have been where I wanted to be my rookie year, but trying to work and get better every day. That way, whenever your time does comes, you can take advantage of the moment.

Q. There was a lot of Denver Broncos fans today. What was the atmosphere like on the sideline?

NIK BONITTO: Obviously, shout out to our fans. It was amazing to see how much orange there was out there today. Just in general, everybody that was able to come out today and bring this game to another place and Mike it something internal around the world was pretty cool to see. So yeah, it was pretty dope.

Q. Sean said this was an important one for you to get. Can you speak to the importance of not following up last week's big win with a letdown today.

NIK BONITTO: The most important thing was coming here and getting the win. It didn't matter how it looked like in my opinion. I felt like as long as we got the win, that was the important thing.

They kind of approached the message this week. Starting 4-2 is a big deal. Something we haven't done since I've been here. It's pretty special to be at this point right now. We got to keep getting better, keep growing every week.

Q. Nik, did you feel like Justin was holding too long, trying to make a play?

NIK BONITTO: Just at times. But it's so hard. I mean, with the defense we run, it's a lot being thrown at a quarterback. So it's going to be difficult to just be able to just sit there and be like I'm going to get the ball out when you don't know who's coming and who's dropping and doing all these different things.

I thought he did a good job today, in my opinion. I feel like the defense, we had a good plan for 'em at the same time. Thank you.
