Colts - 31, Falcons - 25 (OT)

RAHEEM MORRIS: Tough game. Obviously not the results you wanted to have coming out. The guys fought. They fought hard. Get that thing in overtime.

We had plenty of opportunities to win it. We've just got to find a way to get better, whether it's stopping the run, whether it's covering kicks better, returning the ball better or converting on third down -- all the things that kind of hurt us today. We've got to find a way to win those games.

Q. You mentioned stopping the run. What was your plan today to do that against a back like Jonathan Taylor?

RAHEEM MORRIS: He's a great player. He made people miss. He was able to get yards when it wasn't there. He was able to get yards when it was there. If you get a chance to get out in the open grass with that guy, he's trouble. We let him out there once, and he made us pay for it. That's what great players do.

Q. And the return game, what were they able to exploit?

RAHEEM MORRIS: We've got to make tackles. We've got to hold leverage. We can't punt the ball down the middle of the field. There's bunch of different things that go on there.

We've got to go down there and make tackles and get those guys on the ground, particularly in situations when it's winning time, and we had opportunities to win it. At the end there, give them a big-time return. A lot of those guys, they get into field goal range, do things that they need to do to put that thing in overtime.

Q. Passing game was not sharp today. Could you diagnose it at this moment?

RAHEEM MORRIS: Very good defense. They came out particularly on third down and hit us with some zero pressure, some fake zeros, couple different things. We got some protection issues, made us run around a little bit. We had a couple of drops.

Our guys came out, fought well, played hard. Michael always plays well, fights hard, along with all those guys. We've got to find a way to get better.

Q. Was his accuracy good enough today?

RAHEEM MORRIS: Obviously gotta look at that. Mike played well. Mike played well like he always does. Goes through the process. We'll figure all those thing out when we get there and figure it out when we get to look at it.

Q. We talked earlier in the week about third down (indiscernible) continue to show up today. When you look at what needs to happen moving forward, I mean, what does -- because this is now, I think, 22 percent over the last four weeks?

RAHEEM MORRIS: You've got to get better. Once something was a strength for us has become a weakness over the last few weeks. You've got to find a way to convert those third downs. You've got to get them shorter, get them more manageable. And we get a chance to get those third downs, we have to get them.

We can't have any drops, can't have any situation, protection problems, whatever the case may be. We've got to figure out how to get those things done.

Q. We talked about pass rush. I think about seven sacks against Daniel Jones. Are you happy with the effort with the players today?

RAHEEM MORRIS: I'm happy with the effort from the players. Obviously it's hard to say happy with anything when you lose football games, but pleased with what we're able to do in those situations. We had some situations out there you'd like to have them back.

The guys did a nice job being able to force pressures and create some problems. But the biggest part about it is we've got to find a way to create problems at the most critical moments and we did not.

Q. Will you change the way you address your team at all, given that you've lost four straight and kind of in a tough situation right now in terms of getting back (inaudible)?

RAHEEM MORRIS: You change it every single week based on what the messaging is, what you need to do, what it takes to win each game. We talk about every game every single week, and it takes something different every single game.

They require something different this week. And we'll talk about those things. We'll look at it. We'll be detailed. We'll be sharp. We'll practice. The guys do the right thing like they always do. They'll respond. We'll find a way to win this game next week.

Q. What do you make of the struggles you had on special teams, (indiscernible) different return situations -- punts, kickoffs and the troubles you've had in those areas?

RAHEEM MORRIS: They've got two, really three, really good returners that we addressed this week and we talked about and we wanted to get down and hold that leverage. And obviously we did not hold that leverage.

Those guys made us pay on all facets. One was, particularly, was a missed punt. Kicked it down the middle of the field. And a couple of those things were on kickoffs and a couple of those things, whatever the case may be from a return standpoint, we have to find a way to hold leverage and make those tackles.

And we can't give them great position like that. The team is too good on offense to allow them short field and we did.

Q. Any explanations on the intentional grounding? That's three weeks of intentional grounding?

RAHEEM MORRIS: This week, you're just trying to throw it away, trying to get it out of his hand. We've always got to fix those things. At the end of the game it was not worth it to take the timeout to save 10 seconds. Just go to overtime try to win it there.

Obviously there's protection issues both the last few weeks. It was an early snap. This one was a different one. Those things are different all the time. We'll figure those things out.

Q. In the final four minutes of regulation (inaudible) maybe last week. I think you were in better position this time. Do you recall what happened with this team with execution (indiscernible)?

RAHEEM MORRIS: That was close. It was a great play by a great player. The young man made a nice play on our young player. Fourth-and-2, that ball was thrown up in a 50/50 spot. We make that play, we win the game.

They made the play, and they won the game. Gotta give those guys a lot of credit. Give those guys a lot of credit for drawing it up. Great players make great plays. That's what he did right there.

Q. Last week you said you had confidence in Bijan Robinson to get your offense going. What have you seen in the last two games to have confidence?

RAHEEM MORRIS: I do have confidence in him. He was able to go out there and get enough points. We should have had enough to be able to win that football game. We did not.

We had a couple of different phases that we want to get better. Obviously, on offense, you want to get down third down. But we did have a chance to move the football, get a bunch of first downs and really do a nice job in the red zone -- I think we were 3-for-3, I can't remember exactly what it was.

We've got to do a better job in some of those situations on third down. If we do that, we'll be doing better on offense and clean a lot of things up.
