Q. George, what kind of toll does it take on you? You had 20 tackles (indiscernible).

JORDYN BROOKS: I don't know. Probably won't find out until about Tuesday honestly, to be honest with you.

Q. Jack Jones' interception, what was your reaction the moment you saw it?

JORDYN BROOKS: Great play. Literally, I think the timeout beforehand or maybe a play beforehand he told me he was going to do it, and he did it. So that made that moment a lot more cooler. He spoke it into existence and won the game for us.

Q. Touch on the preparation that you all had this week leading up to the win.

JORDYN BROOKS: It was tough. The field we were practicing on, it wasn't a great field, a lot of slipping going on. It was just tough catching up on sleep, trying to stay focused with all the distraction going on in Spain, but we persevered as a team and got ourselves prepared the best way we could. I think it paid off today.

Q. You said that Jack called it before he made that play? Did he call an interception, a takeaway, or just a big play?

JORDYN BROOKS: His exact words, he said: Y'all stop the run. He going to throw me the ball, because he can't throw.

That's what he said, and that's what happened.

Q. (No microphone).

JORDYN BROOKS: Appreciate you. I'm just playing football. I'm never going into a game thinking about a career high. Just trying to do my best, do my part. My game wasn't perfect, but I try to make sure my effort is always there. I think it's just a testament to the effort put in.

Q. What do you think about the fans?

JORDYN BROOKS: They were great. They were loud from the minute we ran out there all the way through the last snap of the game. So I appreciate them showing up and supporting us today.

Q. We saw the tackles. (No microphone). Tell us a bit about playing for Coach Weaver and what that system is like.

JORDYN BROOKS: Coach Weaver is the defensive coordinator you want to play for. Just the type of man he is, his presence commands respect. It's easy to play for him.

And the defense he has behind us, when we're rolling and clicking the way we should, it's a great system. I'm fortunate to be in it and to be playing under him.

Q. (No microphone).

JORDYN BROOKS: Yeah, you've got to play the next series no matter what. Whether we score, we don't score, whether we give up a play or whatever it is, we've got to continue to do our job.

So if something bad happens, we've got to shake it off and have short-term memory and keep playing.

Q. What's the secret behind it, the run defense?

JORDYN BROOKS: Our run defense? What's the secret behind it?

Q. The run game and the running back, what is the secret behind it? Key to stopping the run game?

JORDYN BROOKS: That's just the number one emphasis for us as a defense is to stop the run. We feel like if we can stop the run and make them one-dimensional, we've got the best chance of winning.

I don't think we were great today. We could have done a lot better. We've got to go back and watch the tape and see where we can be better. I know Mariota got out a couple times today. Running backs got out a couple times. But we've got a bye week to clean all that stuff up and get back to it.
