JACOB SHAFFELBURG: It was a great nice for us as a team. We are all on the same page for the whole game, pressing, getting on the balls and working for each other and it means the world for us to get to the finals this year after a tough season we've had. We're all super happy and we are looking forward to going to the finals.
Q. Can you talk about the pass to Richie?
JACOB SHAFFELBURG: Pass to Richie and I made the run, and it's actually funny because he passed it and right when I said first touch it, I said leave it, so it wasn't actually meant for me. I got nervous, like if I mess this one up -- but I scored it, so it was great to get on the score sheet.
Q. How much does it mean to you to play in the Canadian championship against clubs that weren't around three or four years ago?
JACOB SHAFFELBURG: Means a lot, especially since I have a club balm home now, Halifax wonder, so to see all these clubs come newspaper Canada that are doing really well it means a lot, because when I grew up, we didn't have any of those clubs. Good to see them doing well and now competing against the big teams like in MLS, it's a really cool thing. It's good for Canada to have this league and what it's doing for everyone and all the young guys in Canada.
Q. I just wanted to get your take that maybe that was more of a nervy ending than you were hoping for it to be. Looked like you left a couple chances on table and found a way back in.
JACOB SHAFFELBURG: I've got to be better. I had like four or five chances that's could have done better on to probably put the game away. But it's just what happens when in this Canadian Championship, everyone competes to the best of their abilities. Getting the goal back, you could see it coming and it was just good on us to fight it out and get away with a 2-1 win and go to the finals.
Q. You guys haven't had the best luck against Montréal this year. Are you guys looking forward to getting another bite at them?
JACOB SHAFFELBURG: Yeah, we are going to come in full force. We are looking forward to that final for sure.
