Federico Bernardeschi

Media Conference

Inter Miami 1, Toronto FC 0

Q. Obviously heartbreaking loss, but aside from that what did you make of your team's performance?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: I'm very sorry for this game. I thought we had a more chance in the first half, and we don't -- we didn't score, okay, and I'm very sorry for this game because it's the last game at home in front of our fans. And I'm very sorry for this, if we didn't want this game.

Q. We see that you put a lot of passion in the game, every time you miss a ball, you get upset. Every time you make a big, long pass, you are happy. Are you going to keep that momentum into the next season and are you going to spread your energy to all the other players?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI:

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: For sure, 100 percent. Angry; I feel bad when -- when I lose the ball or I lose the passes. But this is my set, no, and for me, it's importanter ball. For me, it's important every game, and for me, it's very important the passion in the field.

Because when you have a passion, you have a heart in the field, everything is possible. I think this.

Q. Sharing the field with one of your Juventus teammates. Did you ever think you would be playing in North America against each other?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: No. Essentially, no. But I think he's a great player and I played with him in Juventus, and we won a lot together. So today, I'm very angry for his goals, and you know, this is football.

Q. Your chemistry, when you guys are on the field, you know where to go and where to pass, are we going to see any more Italian language?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: Yes, I'm very sorry for how this season ended. We lost two or three games we shouldn't have lost. We know it was difficult this year. We know this. But the next year, we will try for a win in any way. Because this season, is very difficult, okay, perfect. I arrived in the half of the season, but I think it's very important for me to get comfortable in the new team.

Next season, we will try to win for sure, 100 percent.

Q. This is the team's last home game. You've scored most of your goals but what did you make of the atmosphere in the games at BMO Field? What did you make of the overall feeling amongst the fan base?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: The fans are fantastic because it was difficult for them because the team this season is -- you know, in the ranking is not good now.

But the fans, every game, every time they supported, and for us, it's very important, very important when we step on the field. This ambiance is very important for us, for the team.

And thank you, thank you for the support.

Q. It's been awhile since we talked to you, I wanted to get how this whole experience has been for you, the city, the club?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: I'm very happy for now. It's a great city. I spoke with you in the first time at the conference. We have a great project and I choose from here because the approach, and it's difficult but my mind felt, okay, perfect, this is the way, and, and we'll keep this road and this path for the future.

Q. In this off-season, are you going to try to recruit Giovinco?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: It's not my decision, no. I play in the -- in this team.

Q. And how was your experience in Toronto?

FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: Amazing. For sure, amazing. I love Toronto.

Thank you.
