Q. It looked like the team had done enough to get a point on the road, which is quite remarkable considering all the injuries. A painful way to lose the game.
FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: I'm so proud of the team because the team and the teammates put everything in the field. This is the most important things for me because playing like this is difficult for everybody, and I think but the guys, especially the young guys, put everything in the field, and this is the most important because we don't -- we don't play. We play long pass. We don't play -- we don't have idea to play, but I'm proud of my team because every player put everything in the field, and this is the most important for me.
But unfortunately, we lose the game again, and this is for me is not good. Sincerely, for everybody, the fans, don't deserve this, and I think maybe we need to change something. We need to either be more tactics or we need an idea how we play because this is the real problem for me. It's impossible to play like this when we play without idea. This is the big problem for me.
Q. Is it the execution of the game plan or the game plan itself that's bothering you?
FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: No, I think we don't have a construction in the game. When the player has the ball, we don't know how to pass the ball. This is the real problem because we don't training about that. We lose every game. We tie, we lose, we tie, we lose. Sometimes we win. But I can't believe this sincerely. This is no good for the young players. They need to -- they need to get better, no, and grow up with an idea of football, and the player with personality, they need to help, to help us to understand and follow the idea of football.
But we need the idea of football. This is the real -- the real situation.
Q. The team has now gone four and a half games without a goal. What do you attribute the lack of goals from and why is the team having such trouble scoring lately?
FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: I know, and this is another problem but we can't score without shoot. If we don't shoot in the goal, we can't score.
Q. You guys, I believe you guys failed to get a shot on target tonight. Did you feel like you had enough help around you when you had the ball, because it seemed like you were by yourself on a lot of occasions moving forward, and you couldn't create much by yourself.
FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: I think every player created by his self because when a player at the ball -- has the ball, we don't have an idea to the movement or to another player. And if you create it by yourself, good. But if no -- if maybe you are three, four players around you, it's impossible.
Q. What is the mentality of the team after you lose a game like that so late? What are you guys saying to each other? What is the sort of overall thought amongst you and the players?
FEDERICO BERNARDESCHI: Listen, guys, I'm really, really, really proud about the team and about everybody, every player, because it's difficult to play like this. And every week, we found our words. We found the mentality to move forward, to keep going. But every game, it's difficult to play like this. This is -- this is the reality, okay. And I think -- I think the guys has to be proud about his job in the field, every game, every game, because I saw every game and I saw every -- I see and I saw every training the young guy, the experience guy, and they put everything in the field. This is the real thing, and for me, we need maybe something different.
