Q. How would you characterize the performance tonight?

JAHKEELE MARSHALL-RUTTY: Yeah, I think in the first half, we came out and we felt really good. Terry gave us a good plan on what they were going to do and what we should do to be successful. I think we should have scored and we should have taken advantage of the way we played. But really proud of the group. We are making steps, and steps are needed to become a good team and we are on the way to becoming that but it's hard. But the first half shows what we are capable of and this is against a really good team, first place, and I don't know how, when was the last time they lost but it showed our character at home. The fans, they deserve those kind of performances, but we weren't able to get the result today. It's disappointing for sure but we'll be back next week. But very proud of the way that we played in the first half.

Q. It's been a while -- what stood out to you about how Terry navigated this stretch?

Yeah, Terry came in and the first thing he gave us was an idea, an idea of the way we're going to play and the way we are going to defend. I think we are all sticking with him and we believe in him and he has our trust, and like you've seen in the first half and second half in Salt Lake, we are capable of go things. It you know, like I said, it's going to take some time and steps but we are moving in the right direction.

We just need to start turning these games into three points, because obviously it's difficult for us. But for the fans, as well, you guys want more and we want more as well. But I think we are all behind Terry, and he's giving us a good platform to be successful and we're going to continue to back him and go into next week and get three points.

Q. It seems like tonight -- you felt a little bit more free. How have things changed?

I mean, previous coaches that I've played winger as well, which I enjoyed playing under Bob, and so those things have came out with them as well.

But today it wasn't just me in the first half. The whole group felt really good and we felt more confidence. So yeah, I felt good for sure but it was the group, the older players giving me the confidence and telling me to keep going or even when I lose the ball, you know, keep going, giving me the ball. It comes from them as well but also belief in myself that I know I can do these things. Just, like I said, to process, and we are going to get to where we want to be and where you guys want us to be as well.

Q. Did you see the goal -- the direction?

Yeah, the ball -- Aime did a very good job. I thought he had more time than he actually had, so I didn't look over my shoulder. That's football. You know, Terry said in the changing room, it's a cruel sport because I felt like in the first half, we deserved more. And then kind of after they scored it kind of was a bit difficult for us and then we kind of found our feet in the last moments. But it wasn't enough. Like so we are going to continue to keep going. I understand that I could have done more in the goal and I take that and on to the next game.
