Tyson Campbell

Postgame Press Conference

Jaguars-20, Titans-16

Q. You guys are in the playoffs now. Everybody else has to iron their stuff out tomorrow. How do you spend tomorrow? Do you kind of turn the brain off a little bit? Do you watch football and try and see who you are going to end up playing next week?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Yeah, and get some recovery in. You know, we have to lift tomorrow, so just get our bodies ready for this new season that we're about to play in, so that's pretty much what I'm going to do.

Q. Tyson, you played in the state championship at American Heritage. You played in a lot of big game at Georgia. This is your first win-or-go-home NFL game. What was that like for you?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Like I told Fred and them, I thought I was in the Sanford Stadium when I came out there. The crowd was just jumping. They was giving us a lot of energy. So I appreciate the crowd that came today. They were a big part of us winning this game.

Q. Having been here last year, does that make this extra sweet for the guys that were in this locker room and went through everything last year?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Yeah, it definitely does. Just to see all the work we put in and the faith we've had in one another and the faith that we had in the process. Just to see it all unfold and to be in this position, it's a tremendous blessing.

We're hungry for more. So, you know, we're excited about it, but we've got a big challenge next week.

Q. Speaking of hungry, I would be remiss if I didn't ask. Chick-fil-a, is it closed on Saturday?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Yeah, they weren't open today. I think it was, like, something went wrong with corporate, so they closed it today too, so yeah.

Q. On the interception it looked like initially like Burks had a step on you going down the left sideline. How quickly did you start to realize that the ball was going to be under-thrown?

TYSON CAMPBELL: I was looking at the ball the whole time. Once I saw the ball was under-thrown, I began to slow down and play the ball.

Q. Were you initially afraid that you were going to get beat and it was going to be an 80-yard touchdown?

TYSON CAMPBELL: No, he ain't going to outrun me.

Q. He did what?

TYSON CAMPBELL: He is not going to outrun me.

Q. Can you talk about Rayshawn Jenkins' kind of year this year? I mean, the impact that he has had for the team. The pick-6 against the Cowboys, the forced fumble today. What sort of guy in the locker room is Rayshawn, and what sort of year is he having on the field to have two of the more impactful plays for this team this year?

TYSON CAMPBELL: I think Ray is having an All-Pro year. He is a heck of a player and just to see the work he puts in week in and week out and the leader he is. You're not even surprised when he makes the plays that he makes. He is a playmaker, great leader, hard worker. I mean, I'm happy for him. I'm glad everyone is starting to see that.

Q. The defense has really kind of been a turnover magnet all season long. In a game like this one, when you come up with the turnover that really is the tide of this game. You have been on some good football teams. Good football teams just tend to fiend a way to win games. To be able to win a game like this one, how far has this team come? What kind of -- does it tell you just how good this team can be?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Yeah, it just goes to show all the work we put in. Like you said, after that bye week, we just got to realize how talented of a team we are and how many games that we lost that we beat ourselves in.

If we just continue to trust everyone to do their job and trust in our abilities, we'll be fine. That's why the motto is "It was always the Jags." Just to see the growth of this team is incredible. I'm excited for our future.

Q. What are your plan for Monday night? You and Travon have any plans? What are you doing for the game? Any big plans?

TYSON CAMPBELL: Just going to watch the game and watch the Dogs put on a show. I feel like it's going to be a blow-out personally.

Q. Now the team is 9-8. Do you feel in some ways that you guys are kind of on house money that a lot of teams -- people didn't expect you to get this far, so you can play some really loose football as you head into the playoffs, so you could be very dangerous. Teams have to watch out for you.

TYSON CAMPBELL: Yeah, we're not really worried about the outside noise. We just focus on us and trying to find ways that we can correct our mistakes and find ways to get better. I feel like once we do that, we'll be fine. You know, put the league on notice.

Thank you, all.
