Jacksonville Jaguars 20, Tennessee Titans 13
Q. ...take so long for you guys to kind of get going in the first half?
MASON RUDOLPH: Yeah, we had the one turnover and then some stalled drives. I don't have the answer for you. I think just got to execute better and move the sticks. Our defense was getting us the ball back. I thought they played, well but we got to score more points.
Q. What was the feeling in the final drive, the final play it looked like NWI was breaking free, guy closed on him, what happened in your eyes?
MASON RUDOLPH: Yeah, I mean, DB made a good play through the seam, he's overlapped, played in the middle of both number one and number two and maybe him lead in a little bit more and thought he made a good play.
Q. What did Brian say or maybe what did you say on those last couple of drives trying to get guys to finish that comeback?
MASON RUDOLPH: Yeah, we knew we had a chance and we knew if we score some points, they're going to get the field goal, get the ball back and get a chance to drive and our defense did a great job getting us that stop when we needed it. We just didn't make enough plays.
Q. ...a lot of these, how disappointing is it and the fact that you're playing hard and lose make it sting even more some of these close games?.
MASON RUDOLPH: Yeah, losing's never fun. There are lessons to be learned and, you know, generally they end up hardening you as a player and teaching you lessons. Experience is the best teacher.
Q. Callahan has said that this is one of those games where you're searching for that one play, you guys, the quarterback, is it tough to keep from pressing and balance out not trying to do too much?
MASON RUDOLPH: Eh, that's always the balance, you know. I felt like right before half, we had to have pints going in, we delivered and came out and got seven points and doubled them up there so I was proud of the guys the way they got us back in the game and the defense did their part and, you know, I don't know how many possessions we had but it didn't some like a lot. They did a good job of controlling the ball, running the ball well.
Q. You said you learned lessons. What are these lessons you guys feel like you're learning right now?
MASON RUDOLPH: Going back and looking -- schematically there's lessons but general adversity. I've never been part of a season like this, but it's taught me a lot. I think it makes you appreciate the wins more and probably brings you closer as a unit going through something that's tough.
