Visitors Postgame Press Conference

Jaguars 48, Jets 20

Q. Seemed like you had some rhythm early. How did you feel out there?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, yeah, I definitely thought we strung together some good drives in that first half. Definitely had a couple great sequences, good rhythm. We just need to sustain it.

Q. How do you feel like you played overall as you look at this game?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, I think there was great moments and also there's a lot to learn from. Put a lot of stuff on tape. I'll be able to watch it and correct it this week.

Q. The first touchdown, the cameras caught your family going nuts. I don't know if you saw that. What did that feel like?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, incredible moment. Incredible moment. It was a play we worked all week. We got the look we wanted. AD ran a great route, got his head around and made a great catch. That's a moment I won't forget.

Q. What did it mean to you, AD got the ball and brought it back to you. Did you think about that moment? I think Aaron was congratulating you. Did you forget about the ball?

BRADY COOK: I did, I forgot about the ball. Shout-out to AD. That's the type of guy he is. He's selfless. He was looking out for us, and the ball is safe, so I thank AD for that one.

Q. On the second interception it seemed like there was some miscommunication there. What was supposed to happen on that play?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, miscommunication, and I need to put the ball out of the end zone. Throw it away, put the ball out of the end zone, move on, play for the next down.

Q. Were you in between there, in between trying to get to him and throwing it away?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, I'm going to have to look at it on tape again and see exactly how it panned out. I haven't seen a replay of it, but just got to protect the ball down there.

Q. What's the biggest thing you're going to take out of today?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, you know, I think there's a lot. There's a lot. Obviously I don't know how many reps I had today, but there's a lot of plays on tape that I'm going to go back and watch. I don't know if there's any one thing, but I think it's just a combination of banking reps, the good and the bad, learning from them, and also just building on confidence on the good stuff.

Q. How did you feel out there, your first NFL start?

BRADY COOK: It was a blast. It was fun. It's the game I love, and it was an honor to take the field as a Jet.

Q. Talking to your teammates, they talked about the confidence that you have, the leadership ability in the huddle. Did you feel really confident you guys were going to be successful today?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, we did. We felt ready to win this game. We all did. I did. Obviously it was disappointing.

Q. What's it like building chemistry with AD in particular? He made a couple cool catches for you today?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, it's cool. Like I said, AD is an incredible target, incredible player, incredible teammate. Happy to have him in the room.

Q. What about Metchie and Isaiah, as well?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, same thing, Isaiah Williams, St. Louis guy. I've known him for a long time. There's some great chemistry building there, and same with Metch. Those guys have done a great job embracing me this week. We've got a ton of extra reps and going to continue to build on it.

Q. Just three weeks left in the season, three games to go. What are you expecting to see out of the guys in this locker room as you come down the home stretch?

BRADY COOK: Yeah, I think a lot of buy-in from this team, and now it's about saying in. These last three weeks we need to stay in together, continue to buy in, and just finish strong.
