Quick Quotes

Q. Caleb, you've just come off 18. How would you sum up your feelings right now? Obviously got very, very close in there at the end.

CALEB SURRATT: Yeah, it's a tough pill to swallow. I've been really close a few times this year in the International Series, and I really fought hard this week because I didn't get off to a great start.

I did all I could do. I hit six perfect golf shots in the playoff, and I didn't really find my way this time, and hopefully one day it does.

I was just telling myself that a year ago today I was watching these guys play this tournament and not knowing I was going to be a professional. That's what I told my caddie walking down 18 fairway. It's really cool now that we're playing with them and in a playoff, so really cool.

Q. You're playing with Cam Smith won The Open, and Niemann is playing well obviously, just won the tournament.

You're in great form at the moment. You must be confident going into next season.

CALEB SURRATT: Yes, I've always felt I'm good enough since I got out here to compete. I've kind of had to learn hard lessons. I think with learning experience now, I think that's the one thing these guys have on me.

I always tell myself it's either you -- you go to a tournament, and there's one of two outcomes. You're either going to win or you're going to learn. To me with where I want to go in the game, I think they're both of equal value.
